MM isn't as popular as you seem to think. The guy doesn't even have his own comic anymore to my knowledge due to low sales. They didn't even make him a founding member in the new JL and replaced him with Cyborg. The dude is popular, but Zod and Batgirl are way more popular.

If they weren't listening, Lobo wouldn't have been added. His inclusion shows they have been.
 
I can't imagine anybody asking for Zod over MM. Or even Batgirl. But apparently, the Season Pass lineup shows how much I know.

Well, think about it this way. They have more mass appeal than MM. The characters may not be as well liked or whatever within the comic community, but people who don't know anything about the comics typically know Zod as a Superman villain and Batgirl as a Batman sidekick.

I would have loved to have MM, but I can see why the others were added first. He's a good character, but he has never really gotten too much love.

Actually Zod will probably be included because of his appereance in the new Superman movie

2 of the 4 rumored characters were confirmed.
Lobo was also leaked first before he was finally confirmed, on April 19th, and now Batgirl.
So, for me, Zod and Scorpion are confirmed too.

Even if Batgirl is unique and not like Batman , she could have easily been a skin for him. I don't understand the high demand for her. Injustice already has a multitude of Batman characters and adding her seems like overkill to me. Lobo and Zod are okay choices , but Scorpion doesn't belong in this game. If Boon wants MK characters then work on MK10. IMO there are a TON of other potential DLC characters that should be included before Scorpion and Batgirl.

Who honestly voted for Batgirl and Scorpion over other DC characters like Martian Manhunter, Killer Crock, Gorilla Grodd, Giganta and Black Canary?
Didn't Boon / NRS say that they were going to try doing the Battle Arena for the DLC characters and let the fans vote this time around?
Where was any of this fan voting on the 4 pre-decided DLC characters?

Ed Boon say's alot of things. I would lay off him considering he's the sole programmer of the game. Must be so stressed.
 
This only annoys me in one way really. And that they are pandering to players who may not be a fan of DC. So they pick characters that will be easier for a casual audience to swallow. Would they really want to buy DLC with MM in it, they wouldn't really know who that is, which is unfortunate. Scorpion is a clear choice for this route, people know him after all of these years. A lot of the characters we may want as a community just get overlooked by the larger masses. It's stupid for them to think with dollar signs, but that is just how it is. Especially since their lifeblood is in communities like these.

Current comic book sales along with DC's long term plans have more of a deciding factor then NRS lets on.

Actually much more people asked for MM than Lobo. They teased Lobo so early I thought he was making the main roster. And what about the poll with batgirl, power girl and zatanna? Batgirl finished last by a long shot, they MUST be listening to us. What I really don't get is all the grappling gun/hook moves now. Batman, Batgirl, Lobo, Scorpion all use this type of move. I'm stoked about Lobo though.

Lol, not anymore at least, I was joking. People often go on about Ed Boon sorting this, not sorting that.

Dunno though, people thought the DLC was a troll but I'm starting to think or hope that the Scorpion thing is the troll and it will be Martian Manhunter. It would be a funny thing to do considering the place holder on the DLC preview is a sillhouette of the new 52 version minus the cape.

Would be an hillarious joke to pull by getting the community worried about a guest character been included again over something that was almost advertised, then at the last minute revealing the final character to be the one people wanted.

Then again realistically it's prolly gonna be Scorpion.

I think she looks alright. Atleast no one can say cleavage is the reason why she got in *coughpowergirlcough*

But Batgirl vs Batman? Batgirl vs Superman? Batgirl vs Ares? Pass, Pass, Pass.

Warner and DC seems to have so much say about things it isn't even funny. Now I'm worried if they're going to put this practice in Arkham Origins too. Loads and loads more of DLC before release than even Arkham City had and force the team to use characters that fit DCs plans. When you start to turn licence games into advertisements, you're getting to that dangerous territory.
