Roster Speculation

I'm pretty sure Mileena is going to be in the game. She's definitely not my favorite, but I do like her. Why do people not like her? I think she's pretty cool-looking. She's an evil twin, which I like as well. That's just my opinion though.

As for Liu Kang, I agree. I've been saying the same thing. He's going to be a surprise boss, IMO. He has a good motive.

My roster prediction would be

Confirmed:

Scorpion
Sub-Zero
Ferra/Torr
D'Vorah
Kotal Kahn
Cassie Cage
Raiden
Kano
Quan Chi

I would add:
Kenshi
Reptile
Mileena
Liu Kang
Shinnok
Tanya
Fujin
Li Mei
Bo Rai Cho
Havik
Hotaru
Rain or Reiko
+5 more new characters(maybe Tremor)

DLC
Goro
Kitana
Jade
Smoke
Cyrax
Frost
Ashrah
Ermac
 
Anybody else gonna be kinda pissed off if the dead MK9 characters make up most of the DLC?
This is the perfect opportunity to bring in some of the 3D era characters that didn't make it into the actual roster.

What if Havik didn't make the roster? Then he would be perfect DLC.
Would you be happy with the dead MK9 characters over a badass like Havik?
 
haha It's not about Havik.

I'm just saying, there are other characters more worthy of DLC then a couple dead "fan favorites"

I still don't understand how "Kung Lao" turned into a fan favorite...Was it just because he was top tier?

I'd be fine if it were only 1 or 2 dead characters as DLC.


For example, if we got 6 DLC, I'd be 100% Ok with this scenario:

- dead MK9 character
- dead MK9 character
- post-MK3 character
- post-MK3 character
- post-MK3 character
- universal guest character

I believe so....I remember I could use Kunglao and button mash and beat average skilled players sometimes...
Yes I definitely think ppl liked him because he had about 20 more moves and combos compared to everyone else...

On another note though..I can't be mad because I remember very specifically when mk9 was about to be released that one of the developers said on video that Kung Lao had no weaknesses ..he's dangerous up close and far away .

The simple answer is Tournaments and ease of use.
People online will flock to characters that are used in tournaments a lot like Mileena, Cyrax, Kabal and Kung Lao.

I used to like Mileena when she was a badass Outworld assassin.

But then she turned in to a mess. Look at her. Her costume is outragous and I say that in a bad way. I can't take it seriously. So, that's atleast why I don't like her anymore.

I'm thinking about the same. Probably might change one of the post-MK3 characters to a new character.

Putting Li-mei, Tanya, and hotaru before cyrax is most definately horrid, but putting bo rai cho the comedy character infront of cyrax is utmost disrespectful bro, seriously I do hope you were drunk as shit before typing this.

Also wasting DLC on ashrah and frost pfff bruh we already got raiden and subzero.

No hard feelings though.

I like her man. She is a bit childish, which is something they should work on. I agree about her 3rd costume. There was no excuse for that costume lol.
