Roster Speculation

Telekinesis is a form of sorcery. Quan chi is the best sorcerer of MK along with shang. So it's pretty self explanatory.........

He had it in his x-ray.....

Also we've seen a ton of characters in the past where in one game they will have a move/ability but it wouldn't be in the following game and vise versa.

he did have it in MK9 the move where he made you come to him, he also made to hit your own head against a skull in his X ray!

That wasn't Telekinesis, but rather a form of mind manipulation in relation to his necromantic powers.

what was li mei (spelling) Fatality in deception?

The first one is called Pressure Punch or Brutality, where she basically hits the opponent at certain pressure points on his body so he explodes.

The other is called Head Grenade where she uppercuts the opponent's head off and then kicks it at him so he... well, explodes. Alot like Liu Kang's Shaolin Soccer fatality in MK: Shaolin Monks.

Would be cool if Guts from Berserk was a guest character lol

hahaha i would love that but the variations would be a bit questionable not to mention he has the strength to cut down 10 men with one swing. Even without the berserker armour he is way too OP, it would be a disservice lol.

Don't get me started on Griffith/Femto... "everyone" gets the caska treatment.

The anticipation for MKX is starting to get unbarable for me so I've been doing some mad speculation. I just had some ideas of who might be the main boss of MKX.

Just to clearify, Boon said it will be a returning character that people won't expect. So this doesn't exactly rule out characters who were not boss characters before either.

I thought possibly Smoke's demon form that was hinted at in his MK9 ending. Not much to go off of here but a lot of times endings like that hint towards the next game's plot such as Raiden and Reptile's MKDA ending etc. Maybe this could be a sub-boss?

Or maybe Noob Saibot (with his desire to rule the Netherrealm in his MK9 ending) and his bio, if my remember is correct, hints that he has some sort of secret goal of his own which is too interesting to ignore if its part of his MK9 bio.

Another thing, what if it was Shang Tsung? It could make sense. With Shao Kahn dead (the jerk that killed him in MK9), once he finds his way back from his apparent death, this could be an opportunity for him. Another thought that crossed my mind is he could also be disguising himself throughout the story and reveal himself at the end. He could of possibly be planning this even during the events of MK9 at some point.

I really like this idea. I can see something like this happen.

How would this be explained in MKX, though?
Didn't Shang Tsung die at the hands of Shao Kahn, in MK9, when Shao Kahn gave all of his power to Sindel?

John Vogel said that Shang Tsung's soul wasn't in Sindel during that part, and if he didn't die during that process, then how would that be explained?
Looks like he died, to me (2:43 mark).

I thought Vogel explicitly said on Twitter that Shang Tsung didn't die in MK9...and I thought Vogel's very word was canon.
