So how many characters do we think will be revealed before the release date?I feel like we should get one a month...maybe they can skip a month.I just won't them to give us something because we have a very long wait ahead.

Eh, assuming that MK X releases in mid-April (following the NRS pattern of releasing games in mid-April), 10 months actually doesn't seem too far away, to me.

That being said, I think maybe 1 or 2 characters every other month either via Twitter, announcement or maybe trolling on www.noob.com, leaving the last 4 or 5 to be unrevealed for the final game release.


I also get the sneaking suspicion that some "old / classic characters" will be DLC.
I could see characters who don't have a huge impact on the MK X story coming in this way.

In MK9 the main roster was leaked a month or 2 before the game came out, but it didn't really matter back then, given that MK9 was essentially MK1 thru UMK3.

Given that MK X has some NEW characters and some familiar faces returning (according to Ed), then yeah, I DO want to know who is and who isn't going to make the cut for MK X.

It would be kinda cool if they kept a couple away from us until the release date.

I also would like for them to give us those character trailers like they did last time.that was pretty cool
 
I hope and feel in my heart that KANO is in the game.....

My theory....

In the MK9 Story mode we see Kano get frozen. We never actually saw him die. Perhaps someone found the frozen body or kept it....25 years later Kano is thawed out lol

and BEHOLD Kano in MKX....and hasn't aged! \m/

That would be SUPERTITS! (for me anyways)
 
I still have a feeling in my gut that Kitana will make the game. Whether it is DLC or as an unlockable character she will be in :love:

Im a bit worried about the ninja characters even making it in the game. I remember Ed Boon say he would be surprised if there no ninja characters aside from Scorpion and Sub Zero in the game. That really worries me. Aside from Scorpion I always been a fan of Reptile and would be sad if he does not make it.

Doesn't that basically means there WILL be other ninjas besides Scorpion and Sub-Zero?
 
As far as returning characters go, i fully expect these guys to be playable:

34 kharacters,not too far of a stretch konsidering MK9's roster,i hope some these guys appear.Well at least we'll have more than 24 kharacters...probably.These are the ones i consider the most important to the story and all.And since Ed Boon said he'd want to have playable bosses,i added them to the list too.

I think it's gonna have more than 24 kharacters in the base game,Boon already said in an interview that E3 select screen we saw was made just to mess with people.We're probably looking at at least the number of kharacters in MK9.
