So far Ed Boon confirmed most MKDA characters not coming back expect for Kenshi, Bo' Rai Cho and Blaze. Kenshi and Bo' Rai Cho seem like that they are pretty much given since they were listed for the MKX digital series. I could see Blaze's human size form making a cameo, not being on the full roster.

Frost should just disappear from existence, really. I'm ashamed Frost and Hsu Hao wormed their way into the comics.

I want to banish them both, along with so many others less than notable MK creations.

I kind of hope that the heart that Kotal Kahn is drinking the blood out of, in the comic, belongs to Frost.

Goro is pre-order DLC meaning that he is on the disc. I doubt he will be killed off since he is likely to appear in the story mode as opponent to fight. It won't surprise me if we fight him in Kung Lao's story mode chapter and they both become allies similar what happen in MK4/MKG.

The chapters were they go after Cassie are nearly 10 after Sonya meets with Kotal. It's not her heart. Raiden's visions were events happening at the same time/nearly about to happen. That scene will have mostly likely already happened by the next time we see Kotal, and the heart will have belonged to some nameless dude.

I wasn't sure which exact comic it was of the digital one.
All I knew was that Sonya's discussions with Kotal happened before she went with Johnny looking for Cassie, so she likely didn't die before that.
