Yep. Same with me, Rock/Metal all the way. rap doesn't even deserve to be captailized.

But I like Rap/Rock mixed in with each other, sounds pretty sweet.

Couldn't have said it better myself :) I like some R&B... but rock is the best!! All types too ;D... I really don't like rap...but don't get me wrong I agree there IS some good rap out there like Eminem...but ppl like 50 cent just plain deserve to DIE!! >_<

also the fact that you ACTUALLY need to have some musical knowledge to play rock while anyone can rap <_<. Therefore I refuse to call Rap "music" ...rap is just spoken rythm...

or as I like to say... you can't spell CRAP without RAP :roll:
 
Heavy Metal all the way, anything like Punk, or Industrial is fine, but I dont like rap, maybe a few eminem songs, but thats it.

Its his Fault we have Chavs in England! However I do like Both Rap and metal. For Example my favoutire rapper is Violent J from the Insane Clown Posse and my Fav metal band at the moment is Clawfinger as seen as ive got bored with Trivium.
 
I think its really closeminded to say like "ooooo i hate rap, cause its rap" or vice versa.

Because im sure you dont like every rap song, or every rock song, you like what you like. There is some really fun rap to listen to, and some amazingly crafted rap too, along with incredibly terrible. There is rock that is incredible, and there is some that really sucks.

I like them both, because i dont have a one track mind. Sometimes im in the mood for rap, sometimes i need death metal, and sometimes i listen to mozart. Stop classifying music, its pointless. People are gonna like what they like when they hear it, no matter the genre.
