Yeah we don't know his backstory ect ect yet.

Helena seems like a "filler" character but when you see parts of her story from the trailers. I can tell her story is gonna be complicated/deep.


Nothing indicating "piers" is gonna have a deep story, but who knows.

Is it just me or does piers feel like the perfect person they build up. "the buddy" guy to Chris. and building him up for a slaughter at the end of the game.

I sense a character death.

like they created him to kill him to build chris' character more.
 
I don't think anything is going to happen to the side characters.

I think something is going to happen to Chris or Leon because of the whole Ada conflict.

I also think something big is going to happen to Jake.

I hate it when people say they are fans of RE when they never even remotely BOTHERED even picking up RE1,2, or 3. They'll eat that piece of shit RE4 up though.

It's like saying I'm a fan of a band but I refuse to listen to their first 3 albums. If I can't and won't even bother to listen to them, then I'm not a fan of said band.

Its fine if your favorite game is RE4 or 5 or 6, but at least play the first 3 to grasp the full story, or I will not and cannot take you seriously.

I somewhat agree, but it's also hard to get people to play older games. especially with RE2-3 graphics lol.

I know graphics aren't everything. But for example.

But I like Final Fantasy games, but I never played FF7. The one that's EVERYONE's favorite. And I probably will never play it. I think it's too late for me to enjoy it.


I think minds these days since their "expectations are higher" are just gonna find ways to "make fun" of the old games and not appreciate it for what it is.


I wish they would do a Remake of 2-3 like they did with 1 on the gamecube.

The biggest complaint I am seeing online is that Chris's game plays too much like COD.


People need to fck off. Each campaign is different so it caters to everyone. If you don't like Chris's 'COD' type campaign, play Leon's more RE style campaign, etc. I think it's awesome that they made the campaigns different so people can be happy with at least one of them.

Leon's (Re1-Re2-CodeVeronica) feel

Chris' (Re5) feel.

Jake's (RE3 feel, with a hint of RE4 IMO)

It's not the graphics that stop my friend from playing it. It's the gameplay. It's the only thing they bring up. THE GAMEPLAY SUCKS.

So? Play for the story, not the gameplay, and you adapt to it anyways. After playing any game you adapt to the gameplay.

As for remaking RE2 and 3, I honestly doubt they'll do it.

If other games can get reboots, I'd imagine they could too. I think the chances are somewhat low. But not anywhere near impossible.


I get what you mean. Some people can't be assymmetrical with the RE controls. Most poeple think up means move away. But Up in RE means forward in regards to character's direction lol. which throws people in for a loop.


I fly plane games on inverted.

when you played w/o inverted, you'll suck for a while and hate it right? but if you give it a few hours, you get use to it enough that if you switch back. you'll hate the old way.


at the very start I thought RE6's controls were annoying. But after a couple rounds through. I'm already super familiar and actually like them BETTER than RE4-5.



as for story, I completely agree. that's why I can buy a RE game, even if it's garbage because I like the story that much.

FF13, alot of people hate the gameplay, but I really enjoyed the story :\.

Doesn't mean shit. Skyrim won GOTY and I don't like Elder Scrolls either.


If Leon kept his mouth shut, I would have enjoyed the game more. His bland personality and shitty one liners. It got worse in Degeneration.

He's a new character that is introduced in RE6, so they just added in any mention of him. So he's still a nobody really. Much like Sheva from RE5. She's a nobody.

I don't like Skyrim either. I hate it.

But it deserved GOTY. It's an awesome game.

I just don't like mythical crap.

Now RE4 poops on everything else. I got the Gamestop Collector's Edition and I make love to it routinely every month.

He isn't, really.


Chris is his captain and he helps Chris regain his memory....that doesn't really make him anything special.
 
on the side of Leon, I also hated his 1linters in RE4 at first. But now that's become a part of him/aka he's said it enough times. I'm immune to them and I actually like him more because of them now.

I know that sounds ridiculous. But eh, sometimes staying cheesey has appeal. It just hurt the first few hours I heard him behave like that. He says cheesey lines in RE damnation.
