Reiko and or Havik at least having a chance

The #7 comics is not coming out till June, which is when Havik's plan will be unveiled. Seems to be more than a coincidence for that issue to come out after the game and after revealing Havik and Reiko wanting to become blood god in the last one, to focus the next two issues on Kotal Kahn, Shokan and the war again. If they would just both be killed, wouldn't they have covered it earlier in the comics. The whole relevance to the story with Reiko and or Havik and the latter's late reveal and everything else, they at least have a chance to be sub-boss / boss. Also remember, Shinnok has been seen at the top of the towers, but so have other characters which suggests he's not the boss. Liu Kang from hero to boss would be cool, but unlikely, so Reiko / Havik would make sense.

Cassie kills Reiko and Sonya Bland shoots Havik in a rage through his head, he then enjoys his death... Reiko and havik won't even have cameo's in the storyline of MKX.

Liu Kang = Blood God with help from Shinnok and Quan...

Those 25 characters are the only ones we are getting. HELL , this roster could be perfection itself without Jax, Jacqui, Guests, Liu Kang and Sonya and with Rain, Reiko, Fujin, Tremor, Havik, Sektor and Tanya...

if what bland is saying is true am gonna hate the goddamn cage family even more. Why do they have to feed awesome characters like reiko and havik to boring characters like cassie and sonya

Next physical one #5 coming out April 8th, then #6 halfway May and after that #7 in June. #5 and #6 will deal with Kotal Kahn, Shokan and the war mostly. Not the Havik and Reiko stuff.

That guy is just angry, he's been spouting garbage about the roster being set and acting like he knows everything a lot lately.

To my source, Boon has said that Kittselsen may kill off a list of characters that he wants to banish from the game, characters on that list: Sheeva, Havik, Reiko, Hsu Hao, Motaro, Moloch, Kintaro, Drahmin, Nitara, Kai, Jarek (probably tasia and no-face too), Mokap, Mavado, Blaze, Taven, Daegon, Hotaru, Kobra, Kira, Dairou & Shujinko.

I'm very sad for Havik, Sheeva, Reiko, Kintaro, Kai, Kira, Nitara and Daegon... The others are better off dead.

Surprising to say, no Tanya, Jade and Frost on that list, and Tremor = DLC. Rain will meet his death in storymode probably, Boon wanted to finish off that error himself...

with those slots, the last one is Liu Kang. seven were blank in the last stream which will be filled with sonya, kenshi, liu kang, jax, jacqueline, erron black and shinnok. if by any chance we do get more than 24/25 (if you count goro for 25th), those slots will be filled by characters we saw glimpses of in the story trailer probably, those being Baraka, Rain, Fujin (I guess sindel is unlikely due to low popularity). personally, I don't believe reiko or havik stand a chance at all except for DLC but hopefully I'm wrong
 
Of course what Bland says isn't true. Don't ever trust anything he says.

As for Reiko and Havik, I could definately see Blood God Reiko be last boss in MKX, but if that's the case, I hope he will be playable/unlockable.

I'm really starting to think there's MAYBE a third row. Not like... 13 extra characters, but maybe the top row is actually 5 across.

I hope you are right even though my own hope for more than 24 is kinda too low or lost even. not only does this roster need more to it but more characters would also mean my boy Rain can be DLC again as well. their DLC choices are not many, the MK universe is loaded with tons of chars not worth an overhaul/no one would buy. the bigger the roster the more of a chance he has to get in. same goes for the likes of havik and reiko, they got potential and belong to that tiny group of DLC choices they can make
 
Not to be a dick or anything, but I've never understood why anyone would want characters post mk4, with the exception of Fujin and Kenshi. I never liked the idea of Havik, or Reiko honestly. It'd be cool to see them in I guess, but I guess thats just me.

Like Deception characters. Kobra? Dude was a joke.

And btw do people hate Sonya Bland or something? Always see him getting shit talked, lol.
 
The big question is: Do Reiko and Havik’s appearance in the comic mean that they play a large role in the MX story? Or did the writer use them because they don’t appear in the game and he can do with them whatever he wants.

It’s probably the latter but I’m very optimistic that Reiko has good chance of becoming a DLC character – even if he gets killed off in the comic. He became very popular among the fan base and since DLC characters aren’t part of the canon storyline they don’t need to explain his possible return from death. With some luck Reiko might even get a spot on the roster of the next game.

They never going to kill off Mokap! He’s too important for the overall story and MK wouldn’t be the same without him!
 
OK so my idea which I have said a couple times now. noob is the boss.
originally both havik nd reiko were designed to be noob saibot. but changed at the last minute. maybe this is them tidying up all of the characters involved and maybe allowing sub zero to be released from noobs character. opens a lot of story lines really. And in previous games noob has wanted to power and havik has helped in his endings.

Lol, I don't mind, I get my revenge anyway, this is all true, and while i'm kinda sad that Reiko dies, I can't wait to see Incubuslord reaction when his precious dies at the hands of Cassie Cage.. :-D
 
I actually had a lot of hope for MK4-MK:A characters to make it in the roster. I know it would be only a select handful but I thought for sure Havik and Reiko was make it in MKX. Turns out this roster had fewer Post-Trilogy characters than I predicted. Seeing how they're only going with Shinnok, Quan Chi, and Kenshi. I was thinking atleast 6 or 7 MK4-MK:A would have made the cut like Havik, Reiko, Fujin and possibly a female character (Sereena, Tanya, Li Mei).

It's not going to bother me as much as you might think, because I'm not some fanatic moron who goes crazy about stuff like that.
