Reiko and or Havik at least having a chance

I personally can't stand Li Mei. To me she is just the generic acrobatic Asian chick stereotype that every fighting game has, and it's not a trope that appeals to me, the only exception being the very first of them: Chun Li from Street Fighter. But even she lacks any sort of character development and appears just the same in each game.

They all have potential to become something awesome, but I just feel like Li Mei won't grow into anything that'll fascinate me the least, simply because of the base character she is, where as characters like Tanya, Reiko and Havik seem more interesting to me. But different characters appeal to different people. ^^

I agree with you here, but Li Mei is at least in story mode (we've seen a clip of her, or at least I assume it was her) and so - as it stands - she has a better chance than Tanya, Reiko or Havik.

A character's chance to be in the game won't make me like them more.

I think Reiko is the final boss because of this stage. There is Shao Kahn's armor, thousands of books etc. All things about Reiko. He reads books in a room like this on MKX Comic. Also we already know he has the helmet of Shao Kahn maybe that armor and hammer. There is ruler achievement in this stage too..

If NRS wants to, they could straight up make any character awesome. They did some great work with Stryker in MK9 which further proves, that all characters have potential and that NRS just needs to try or want to try. Just my two cents though.

That's Quan Chi's study though. Not Reiko's.

I've seen this said before, and always assumed as much, but has it been confirmed or was it just something mentioned in leaks?

I mean, I assume it has been confirmed, but I was just curious. I'd like it to be Havik's library :D

I like the design (second costume) of Kobra, being a "Street fighter" black dragon character.
But he flops so bad, generic moves and stuff like that can kill a newcomer.

In the "NEXT" trailer, when they show the factions, it shows that same stage when showing the Brotherhood of the Shadow, which is Quan Chi's faction.
 
Neither of these characters ever struck an interest for me to want them in another game. If they do make it in, by whatever means, I'll give them a chance before judging as I always do that to each character.

However, I would rather have two other characters in more over these two, as long as it's not Darrius, Dairou and sadly Tanya. I don't care who they would be.
 
Regardless of who's freaking library it is, Reiko is spotted reading shit in there, there's the Shao Kahn relics and the creation of some life form. Creating a demon to become blood god? Reiko transforming into a Shao Kahn like god? All possible.
