I'd love to know why this guy is so obsessed with Baraka. Seriously, what is so exciting about that boring bastard!? There's millions of others that look exactly like him! He's mentally deficient, he has absolutely no personality & he exists solely for the purpose of acting as a punching bag for everyone else.
 
Hopefully it’s Mokap. It’s about time for a comeback.

But it’s probably going to be a character from story mode like Fujin or Rain or someone who was featured very prominently in the comic like Reiko. If it’s a new character and not just the “reveal” ofTanya, Tremor or the Predator.

Damn im really wondering who that is going to be, that is crazy :D Wow the more the merrier NRS :D
Im not even a Fujin player, got the feeling its going to be him we got no wind characters, and he would fit very well into the story! And with the other cast!!

Long ago, when MK franchise had close to no story, Baraka was one of the more vicious-looking and violent characters, and that was enouth. After MK4 he lost his balls somehow. He still tends to have violent fatalities at last. I'm more puzzled with a common fascination with Ermac. He (in my opinion) speechs like a retard and deliver minimal impact on a story. But again, his fatalities are great.
I hope to see Fujin as unlockable ;)

Can anyone tell me if this is possible? On the day one patch they are patching through fujin, they didn't want him to be leaked by people who got the game early?

Is it possible? Well, yeah. I suppose in theory they could patch in anything.

Is it likely? No, and I am past holding out hope for stuff we won't get.

However, I am very sceptical about there being a random select roster slot and a random select button. Both are not needed.

hes the best character design with an awesome weapon/blades built into his arms, thats just fking awesome and badass and far a more interesting character for a fighting game to the death than boring human soldiers with mini guns.
This is a fighting game first. if you want a story, read a book.

No wonder the final roster is so lack luster and void of diversity, everyone wants the story first and characters second
and from what weve heard of the story mode its not all that anyway.

Baraka's awesome, no doubt. And I kinda agree. Story mode isn't everything. We - the hardcore fans, take the story too deep.
IMO Baraka deserved a slot, and yes he hasn't a big role in the story, but who cares? Gameplay wise he could've been awesome...
 
99% sure it's Fujin. But if he's unlockable, why the phuck announce it? Where's the fun? Lazy kids nowadays needing manuals and one press buttons for everything.

how could you NOT want this in a fighting game!
and even if you wernt keen on him in MK9 they could improve on him to be a great character for MKX with brutal violent moves and variations
just forget story for a minute and sideline your previous impressions of him and you cant deny, a dude l;ike this was made for a game like MKX

Be nice! lol I love Baraka too. You know he has a lot of fans, but some are more passionate.
