Congrats...

But being someone with a ridiculous record myself, I can tell you that it being highly ranked doesn't mean much else then you play the game an awful lot. I think I'm like 300 and 26, but like, 240 of my wins were against people who hadn't even played an online game yet.

Still, it always feels so good to beat someone with a record like that :)

This proves that online leaderboards rank position means shit.

I have a high K/D, but I honestly don't care. But my good K/D is only in player matches when I whoop the chump who spams him some Hellfire.

Im not sure he left the match be cause if he had, it would have said "Opponent has left match" (or something along those lines). Looks like he just lagged out........but you probably would have won anyway, nice win

Yea i know.. I have over a hundred wins at this point and under 20 losses and I would say about 75% of those wins came against noobs. I doubt I'll ever get on the leaderboard simply because I got the game a week late and then didnt go online for another week.. I'm a solid 250 wins or so behind even the 100th placed spot. I know I'll be playing this game for months though so as long as I keep it steady I might sneak on there. We'll see how much time I have for it in the summer though.. that jersey shore is a callin :D

Like you said it still feels good to beat guys on the leaderboard. So far I've beaten wakaflocka, iverson21 (4th last time I checked) and another guy who was in the top 20 last time I checked.

I agree.. I wish it wasn't based on kills but rather the true skill or something else.

My K/D is over 5 at this point and I think that's pretty solid. It compares well to some of the higher ranked guys on the leaderboard

Trust me he definitely left the match. I was in the midst of a combo that would have killed him when the message popped up.

Yea I agree but the guy is 766-56... thats nothing to sneeze at. I also did a quick google search on him and saw hes highly competitive on SSF4.

or
B.) Shut the XBox off. Thus, preserving his W/L. Or so he thinks. I'm not sure how the W/L is working in this game.

i kilt that dude also, he jus does the same thing over and over wit smoke and i gave it to his ass wit scorpion

i just played him again for the 2nd time and he used LK again. This time it was a lot closer though.. I won g1 pretty easily, g2 he almost flawlessed me, and g3 we traded combos back and forth until he hit a 3x juggle in the corner and I thought for sure I was gone. He must have mistimed one of the juggles and I was able to get off an EX teleport and then a 3 d+1 2 combo FTW! Once again he quit.. this time when I was in the middle of my fatality animation. Sent him a message calling him out on quitting twice and said hes a pussy and his response was "I no" lol

Poor sportsmanship on your part for sending that message, poor sportsmanship on his part for leaving.
 
Ranked Online Match With Your Friends

Okay so I've been playing this guy my buddy can't beat and I've killed him a thousand times
He keeps saying that's a lie though and i have no proof since it's not ranked
How would i play a ranked online match with him so that it registers in my statistics?

Not sure if the stats are that in-depth. HOWEVER, you could create a king of the hill match between the three of you.

Ranked Match Help?

Okay, so I joined the chat room "Outworld" and played numerous matches, won almost all of them. Yet my Rank (worldwide) doesn't change. How do I increase my Ranking? I'm trying Ranked Battle but I'm not getting an opponent. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm on PS3 by the way.

the lobbies are for unranked matches, for a ranked match it should be the first option when you go online. it says 'ranked match' and matches you up with a random opponent so you cant pick on the n00bs. You have to wait a while for a match too..it takes a long time usually..

I find funny how the top ranked players have like 200 and something wins and like 40 losses to an estimate of 250 matches........how in the hell do they find matches so easily!!!
