No source, just speculation. We got Kenshi's vignette on a Thursday, so we can safely assume Rain's vignette will come on a Thursday, too (which is tomorrow). Sorry if I disappointed you or anything.

But what I can confirm from NinjaBoy66 is that the Blueberry and Lime klassic skins trailer will be coming on Saturday!

Same as Noob and Smoke trailer, so its very possible that you are right about the vignette, I also deduced we get the vignette tomorrow.

Yup, all of your date predictions have been based on already used schedules that I've been following as well. No reason these videos won't follow suit. =)
 
It's about to Rain on us.. so get ready. He's almost here :)
I know alot of people will be like "He's my new main!!" but he's my old main. MK Trilogy, son.
 
Half the people that say they will main him will just drop him after a week because they either can't magically combo with him or he isn't "broken". Look at Skarlet and half the Kenshi users out there.
 
Really I'm guessing one of two things (of not both) will happen,

Hardcore fans will use Rain until he becomes the next "Reptile and Scorpion"(overused)

Hardocore fans will drop Rain, ***** to Boon on his twitter, Blame Nrs for the apocolypse, and proceed to labeling Rain as "shit tier" Reminiscing on the "old days" when Rain was at his prime in the Arcades.

Or possibly a third (and I swear this would be nice for once) outcome.

I like the way Rain uses, and I WANT to main him, just like I wanted to main Kenshi and, to a lesser extent, SKarlet. But I don't care how flashy my character looks, I want one that plays to my style.

Part of the problem is, I don't know what my style is :*).

Maybe Rain will be the one to make me say "Yes, this dude is awesome, and I'm going to main him", but it's all in how he plays/feels in my hands (No homo)

My dad sat me down with a 64 when I was very young. The game we always played was Mortal Kombat, starting with trilogy. My dad is 18 years older than me, so he was a kid then lol. I've never beaten dad at MK, lol he is a beast (but a bad Raiden spammer LOL). Damn, taking me back here. The night before I got my permit, me and dad stayed up till 4 in the morning playing the Master II ladder (on expert) and we only had one continue left. I picked Noob Saibot and beat Shao Kahn with like 1% of life left. High fives were given and shouts of joy were screamed. Dad took me to gamestop to pick up my MK9 when I pre-ordered, too. We must've played it 38 hours straight. Lol, thank you Dad, for introducing me to the best game ever.

That's with everything though. I always pick up the same characters in every single game (in my sig) and learn to master them over and over, despite their changes. I've been using Kenshi since DA, and continue to do so in every single game. It's no different for Rain, who has been my favorite since UMK3/Trilogy.
 
Anyone remembers when Rain appeared for the first time in Conquest series back in the 90's? When the episode was over I went immediately to play Trilogy.

Rain was 90's MK9 Kung Lao back then LOL So easy to juggle with...
 
1 thing that bothers me about rain is if you look closely his mask isn't really a mask it's just kinda like a piece of cloth, and u can even see under his face if he moves and it's the right camera angle
