We couldn't get a ride to a grocery type store so we ordered delivery for every meal lol. I did fail and buy a breakfast sandwhich for 8$. It didn't even taste that good.
Everyone knows that Raiden will be in. His reveal would be really lackluster and not very hype at all. The only reason why the CG trailer was good was because it was the first glimpse of MKX. It wasn't exciting to see those characters again. We know that they will be in. A Raiden reveal at EVO would be a waste in my opinion.

That reveal sure as hell wasn't lackluster, AT ALL.
It was VERY hype.
I sure as hell don't think that the Raiden reveal was a waste of time, and his Storm Lord variation where he can set up Lightning Traps was pretty awesome.
Hell, for the first time in a LOOOOONG time I may actually try to get good with Raiden, and possibly consider him in my top 3 rotation, if not a main.
I don't mind that so much.
He looked like a mix of MKII / Dark Raiden / Big Trouble In Little China, so I'm happy with his design.
I'm loving all the electricity constantly flowing through his body, and well as on his hat.
For being a "Thunder" god, who can control lightning, it's a big aspect of the costume that wasn't so prominent in MK9.
Sure, you saw a spark or 2 in MK9, but in MK X Raiden is fully covered in electricity, and it looks awesome.
Ed said that they aren't taking out special moves for variations, just adding to them.

I suspect that ALL the iconic special moves will be in every variation, as basics.
Meaning that 1 variation will probably focus MORE on special teleport-based attacks, but that doesn't mean that the basic teleport is automatically gone from other variations.

I like kai for how much of a better character he could be he was real cool in mk4 along with fujin (who I have a gut feeling will be the one actually revealed and not raiden)
If Kai does become a playable character please don't sterotype him with the cornrows
I think he means that there will be a couple of base special moves. So each variation will have a few moves in common For Raiden it is his super man and electric projectile and then, they'll add on to that different variations of unique specials. At least, that's how I interpreted it.
I doubt Boon would just flat out lie about something like that (If it doesn't regard online play...)
i just....no, just no. raiden is the greatest, i would rather ride his lightning rod than have to endure yet another scorpion dick sucking session. don't get me wrong, i don't hate scorpion by any means, but, jesus, the scorpion teabagging is old.

And then at @:57 we see the Ex version.
We can assume that this is the Ex version because although it doesn't have the regular Ex move pulse flash effect, he also does not do his regular teleport animation that we see during the Displacer showcase. The animation being where he throws one hand up towards his hat, even when cancelling his normals he does this animation.

I think Boon was speaking in general. Like if the superman move wasn't in the game at all, it would be weird. He never specifically said a special move would be in every variation.
