LOL, who doesn't, though? Unfortunately, it looks like that game won't be coming out until AT LEAST 2013, if not 2014. :sad:

At first, I voted yes in the poll for buying the Vita (which looks really cool) but after some thought probably not. Too much money! A 3DS will be fine for now so I can make way for the Wii U and PS4.

The 3DS, as cheap as it is, just doesn't have anything worth playing at the moment (apart from a 13 year old N64 game). Even the principle gimmick of glassesless 3D is temperamental, working poorly unless you are completely static.

I loved the DS, but the 3DS has been a massive disappointment so far (which is reflected in the sales and subsequent price drop). Also, why we are still using single analogue sticks in this day and age is a design choice that is beyond me.

I probably won't get the PSV on release either, but with it's dual analogue controls, touch screen, minis, full games and more emphasis on twinned play with the PS3, it seems like a more versatile handheld console.
 
im definately going to get a vita. it will have the better games IMO. but really this price drop is just nintendo suckering us all to buy their product before the holiday season. i would rather pay more and get the better thing. vita ftw!

The last and only portable console I had (and still have) is the GameBoy Color.

And I loved it because it was transparent and you could see all the stuff inside lol, just like this one.

I had a yellow one that wasn't see through when I was younger, god knows where it is now. I had MK4 for it. On the Ps Vita and 3DS, personally I can't decide right now. I'm leaning more on the 3DS, because of Luigi's mansion 2, Mario Kart 3DS, Super Mario 3D, RE Revelations and Mercenaries (IDC about the one save feature problem) and all that. The Vita has MK and uncharted (A game series I've been meaning to check out) going for it. My birthday is a few months after the release of Vita, I'll probably decide something there. However, I've been telling my brother to get one so I can get the other so we have both in the house, and we share them.
 
Getting the PS Vita, can't wait to play MK9 and Street Fighter X Tekken outside. The D-Pad also looks a lot better.

Not a lot of information is confirmed but Ed Boon a developer for NetherRealm Studios has confirmed that 'Mortal Kombat 9' will be coming to the PS Vita. The game will be a direct port of Mortal Kombat 9 for consoles which recently came out this year.

With all the fighting games coming to the PS Vita Mortal Kombar 9 will be a great addition, all this 3rd party support for the PS Vita seems to provide some great content for the PS Vita.

Awesome, I hope all the DLC's come with it, except Retarded Krueger, I dont want to p ay for the same DLC again =/
 
My main concern is the battery life, it's set to be the same or near the same as PSP’s except for when you play graphical powerhouses like Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Sony has told Engadget. Unlike the old PSP, the battery isn't removable, that sucks for me, cause I use my current PSP everyday as a media player and I always carry a spare battery with me. I guess I'll have to bring a usb cable and charge it at work :(
 
Battery life is definitely a concern, it's another reason I avoided the 3DS. If the PSV only has a 4 hour battery life as well then it's use as a portable handheld console will be questionable.
