Mortal Kombat 2011 story mode involved cutscenes, fights, and allowed you to control different characters for each "chapter", which involved about 4 fights each (with the cutscenes in between)
MK: Deception Konquest mode had you playing as a single character, Shujinko, for the whole story. It allows you to run around and fully explore all 6 realms doing quests and errands for people, involving a lot of fights (and some optional ones). It was more like an open world RPG in a sense.
Assuming you've played both, which one did you like better? This includes the modes' format and/or storyline.
