Persona 4: Arena

I ended up playing Score Attack the other day for the first time since March I believe. I made it all the way to Aigis and then she fvcked me up. Not bad for the first time playing in awhile.

It's officially titled (and I kid you not)...... Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold

A brand new character is revealed. There are also new animations for existing characters, and possibly new moves.

Yeah I saw a comment on a Persona page that said that.

I just think he looks stupid. I knew they would add in a new character, but they could have done a better job on the design.

I'm currently indifferent about this Sho Minazuki fellow, but his design could have been worse. I think most of the resentment stem from the fact that a character from an existing title was not added to the roster instead.

If you can have any character from SMT/Persona series playable in the game, who would you want?

SMT character? Demi-Fiend.

Persona character? Tatsuya, Katsuya, Boy with the pierced ear, Nanjo or Maya.

Please for the love of Messiah, do not -
Spoiler:
do not bring back Minato. Do not fvcking do it unless it's a proper Persona game and not a god damn fighting game.

Adachi.

Put him in, but don't have him be involved with the story.

I figured you would pick the Demi-Fiend. Due to the nature of the game/world he was part of, there lots of possibilites in how he can be implemented in the game.

I don't know much about the first two persona games, although I want play them at some point.

No objections here, I think the game could use more playable antagonists.

How far have any of you made it in Score Attack? I've beaten it once with Yu and that was all the way back in April. I've been trying with Akihibro (my main) and I've made it to Elizabeth 3 fvcking times and I get my ass whooped almost every time. I was able tried to do an instant kill but she didn't fall into it and she then won by Thanatos grabbing me and putting me in a coffin, spitting me out in rage mode (no blocking) then her fvcking Garudyne skill killed me off.

No, I never made it very far. Maybe one day I'll try again. About two weeks ago, I started playing again, trying to finish off the the story mode. I forgot how lengthy they could be and only have enough time to finish one or two per session.

Although Kanji was my first choice of character starting out, I'm starting lean more towards Chie as of late.

I originally started playing out as Yosuke because I like his speed, then went towards Yu because of his all-around fighting style, but my main now is Akihiko. He's got everything besides projectiles. He's got speed, power and can even dodge stuff easily. The only down side is like I said, no projectiles, but because of that, I never get my Persona broken since it never comes out.

I'm trying to get better with him by learning some combos, I got some down, but there's always room for improvement.

I forget, are you playing it on PS3 or 360?

I played Score Attack like once, early in the game but that's it.

I really only try to play online. The story I'm really not a fan of but I got most of the characters done, and sometimes I play arcade mode. The lack of attention always demotivates me when I decide to learn Aigis and Mitsuru. Mitsuru and Kanji are my favorite Persona characters but I'm abysmal with her.

Akihiko doesn't have the same level of versatility as Yosuke or Yu. However, he is no doubt dangerous up close. Some of his Persona abilities have utility that complement his style, but he's not dependent on his persona like other characters are.

I play the game on the PS3.

I want to go through the story mode at least once, but so far it's a typical example an excuse plot, just like every fighting game out there.
