PC Version / General Discussion Thread

MKX works fine on Xbone. Popped the game in, downloaded the patch, 30 minutes later ready for play. No problem at all. :marchmellow:

But I hope that you guys who got problems with it on PC will get it patched up soon. :/
 
At least Practice and Bot matches are up and running.

I've found a 9 hit 32% combo with Mileena already at least. Gotta love putting the computer on Very Hard and just watching the magic happen.
 
Came home. Unboxed. Installed from DVD. Just read through a zillion posts that game isn't working. Checked Ed and Ed confirms. What the Valve? What the WB? Trying new shit with MKX. Of all games. Waiting...
 
Oh well, I guess I could play Street Fighter Alpha 3 while waiting. After all its X-ism, A-ism and V-ism is pretty close to variations' idea and influenced MKX a bit.
 
I mean wtf? How stupid u have to be to test a new method of game download on such hyped and "big" game? Could not they do it on something smaller?
 
I still have no story mode, nor towers, nor online play. :(

It's moments like these that make me appreciate my dusty console.

And I agree. Valve is dumb. And WB too for approving.

Nice they know about it and acknowledged it and we're still getting the game day 1, but there should be an apology and compensation from both Valve and WB.

Had I no understanding of what is going on I would have already smashed the screen.

I had that feeling too but I ignored it. Because once the storm ends, and things get fixed, I would rather have a PC copy than a console one any day. Rough launch? Absolutely. Am I annoyed? **** yeah I am. Will I completely trade this for a console version? As much as I want to right now in this very moment, I wouldn't in long term.
 
whats the best size monitor to get for this game?
and what make/model is best?

i have a cheapy 21 inch energy saving bullshit monitor at the moment and want to upgrade

Meh, rocky launch sure, but when the dust settles, we still get any controller we are comfortable with and mods.

When the dust settles I'll purchase the game. For know, I'll keep my peace of mind. Oh, and my money.
