Naw it was a ps3 exclusive only.... I played online for the first time tonight.... its ok. Not really what I expected. King of the hill is pretty sweet

thats sux i got 7 (different costumes not the same) of em to redeem so now i gotta wait another week or so and psn is not even up as i type this here in Dallas, Techs S!

not true.. jade is available on 360 as i have it..

my kostume list is:

Scorpion
Ermac
Mileena
Jade
Reptile

im gonna be pisssssed if they offer the costumes at a price for the lot f them when i only want kitana n sub now lol

Same here, i didn't input my kombat pass since i wanted to do story mode first...but you can play online by using the "Free Trial" option...least you can play for a bit, i thoroughly enjoyed it, i think it lasts for two days so i got one more lol
 
Online pass issues

Well heres the story,

I activated my online pass on day one when PSN was still active. When PSN went down I also experienced a HDD issue so I had to delete some data. MK's data was amongst it. So the downloaded online pass is gone too. Since we can't redeem passes at the moment there is one question I can't answer. Is my online pass connected to my PSN account? as in, will I be able to download it again when PSN is fully up and running? Or will I have to buy a new one?

Any help/answer would be very appreciated!

should be, when the store's up go to "view downloads" in the top right and it should be on that list, just re-download and ya should be good. The whole of europe is pretty buggered tho coz they didn't get it til AFTER the problem, luckily got my copy a day early otherwise i'd be screaming!

I'm from europe :P And I got my copy a day before the whole PSN sh*t happened. So in the store, in the recent downloads list it should enable me to download it again. Cool. Maybe the redeem kombat code function in MK's menu will see the code too since it should be linked to my account. I hope it does anyway... I'll mail WB just to be sure. I've got the sense I'm not going to be the only one with a "lost kombat pass" issue.

sadly i don't think so, you can't get to it thru the the redeem code or dlc bit in the extras. you and me were in the lucky few mate, tweeted ed boon (eternally optimistic) about potentially lifting the need for a code for the month! try going online and see what happens, worst that can happen is that it says "no" but it will definitely be in your download list. me and my friend game share and have used each others "online passes" by looking at the list on games before. good luck dude :)
 
Dear NRS: Please extend online trial!

So as many of you know, if you're on PS3 and you didn't get a chance to redeem your Kombat Pass so you could play online, you're basically shit out of luck until the PSN store is functional again.

At this weekend's PDP tournament, one of the lead developers for NRS stated that they look to this site for feedback from the community. If you want NRS to hear this and possibly give us a temporary solution, post here and hope to hell it gets noticed!

I'm betting that the Store will be up within a few days, so any efforts to get around this in the mean time is gonna be pointless since it'll probably take more than a few days to get around it.

Let's hope so. I've noticed that when trying to get into the store, it has been changing back and forth between "Undergoing maintenance" and error messages. They must be getting closer.

Store isn't due back till end of the month on the current plan. They need to remove the inhibiter. They don't even need to patch to do that i don't think. Could be wrong about!

extend the trial, with my luck ps store wont be up for another 2 weeks and i can only play for 2days until then .. sucks

The rumor was that the store would return on June.

Yes I second that, NRS please give us fans more time to enjoy the game for a longer trial period online. I mean the game was basically unplayable online when I bought it on release, couldn't enjoy playing it and then it went down. I couldn't really get into it at all as a result of the uplayability, so it would be fair for you guys to give us a grace period, especially with the PSN going down(even though it wasn't NRS's fault). But, I am begging you to NRS please consider that MK could very well be my fighting game of choice if you do this.

As of now I play MVC3 online because they have a much better online experience. If you can do this and improve your lag online MK would definately hold the number one spot.

FREE TRIAL PLEASE!
