Online is STILL an issue - Despite the "fixes"

That green bar/connectivity thing is a load of crap as well.
I've played games against people with no green bar at all, and I get to play about 8 games in a row with them, with little to no problem.
Then I challenge people with 3 or 4 bars, and after a minute get the "this game session has ended". Seriously, last night I challenged 5 people in a row, and I got that stupid message. Someone challenged me with no bar and I got some good matches.
Seriously NRS, **** the alts and extra characters, FIX THE ONLINE FFS!

aww and your a whiny self entitled brat. do we feel better now that we have had a chance to argue? But obviously you failed to read where i dont have any of the listed problems (on a wireless ps3 extending its reach quite far no less) and was merely posing the odd question of what is exactly causing this lag. seeing as if it was universal id have crappy internet and river with his fiberoptics would have great connectivity, but no, his sucks, mines great....strange.
edit: stating FIX IT, with no resolution yourself isnt correct conduct. Stating "im not a technical kind of person but i have a very strong internet connection that works flawlessly with other games, but on mk9 it is difficult for me to even play because of lag. While i dont know why this is happening, I do hope you fix this issue as it seems to be plaguing many of your players with no clear reason as to why, considering other players state their online experience is perfectly fine"
now, you dont have to make it as wordy or fancy as i did, but a bunch of people chanting "nrs sucks, they promised X we got jack, screw this, fix this now ffs, etc" isnt the most constructive way about it. and if you say "so what its there job" then your already brainwashed.

And the fact that its player specific and seems to not care how uber your internet is is a VERY interesting issue. One that nobody discusses cuz they are too busy RAGING

And to all you irritating COD fanboys: You can't deny that you get plenty of laggy matches that eventually disconnect =/
MK has its fair share of issues, but IMO it is still a great online. Playing with members of this site is nearly lagless for me, most player matches have substantially better gameplay than they did opening week. I get my fair share of lag, but not once have I gotten a desych after 1.03, so from that I am drawing that it is mostly your connection that is the problem. Or your opponents...

It's called connection. The dots may not be a representation of it, but it is definitely a problem. A lot of people have awful connections and that is a big reason why matches are laggy...
And also, why do you even need to play ranked when the player matches are easier to find???
And I know a lot of trolls are going to jump on me and say something like: "WELL GOOD FOR YOU IT ISN'T LAGGY BUT /whine /complain /*****
And to those I say, if you are having issues, get better internet/a different router to play on.
And also keep in mind that the online usually becomes extra laggy whenever they pushed for a DLC character or patch... So that may have been a problem for some of you in the past

I do think the online is worse. When I find someone, great.. I can have games galore. But today I've only gotten games if I get challenged. If I challenge, it goes to game session has ended.
I DO believe the servers are at fault and possibily the dlc and packs are an issue.
That said, I do have faith in Boon to try and do something.

agreed. online for this game isn't as bad as some people are making it out to be. but most other fighters(sf and tekken) do have better online than this game. but at this point this is what you can expect until mk arcade kollection or the next game. hopefully mk arcade kollection online is better than this game.

As I have said before, the only thing that sucks for me about online right now is how long it takes to find an opponent in ranked.
Other than that, I hardly ever get disconnects (unless it is someone raging so they turn off their system) or someone who just really had a bad connection. Rarely happens (PS3, btw).

I agree. The online is not bad, but isn't it fun when you DO get challenged and play? I mean sure there is some lag, but that is why you shouldn't try to pull off insane combos. Use what works for you (as far as combos etc.)
tip: usually I just make one of my chat things challenge me, or anyone wanna play? and I get a challenge VERY quickly afterward
And generally, if it happens when YOU challenge then it is YOUR connection as you would be host

My main problem with this online is the button delay. That is all I want fixed. I can pull off some great kombos in single player, but online its a massive b*tch!!! In mk you have to be super quick with your button sequences. When you press square, square, triangle, followed by a special move, the game thinks you pressed square, square, ?, special move!!!! Its driving me crazy. Does any1 know why this happens? and is it fixable?
