I have TPG ADSL2 as well, and have the same issue, my cousin who is with Telstra is the same. Your not alone, and so far I can't figure out why it's happening, a Tech support forum was no help.

Online is just terrible at this point. KOTH is almost always unplayable. It takes forever just to find an opponent in Ranked or Player. Games randomly drop out "session no longer available" all the time. Combine this with the fact that people ragequit all the time and this game turns into a headache real quick!

Nat has to do with hosting games. Does challenging someone in a chat room count as hosting a game? If not then Nat rating has nothing to do woth this message. I asked people online if they have this message all the time and they all said yes and most of them had open NAT, as do I and i still get this message

Constant Disconnects
Does anyone constantly get disconnected during the middle of a match? I'm at 11 disconnects now (That's not even including several more that the game hasn't recorded), most of which happened in the middle of fights that I was winning, so I pretty much gave a free win to those that probably wouldn't have beaten me to begin with.
It seems to happen randomly, I'll have a few smooth matches, then I'll disconnect during the middle of one. Sometimes, I'll disconnect on the first match that I play.
There's no reason for this to happening on my end, as I have a pretty fast connection and never experience any lag or disconnects in other games.
Now I know the online portion of MK is in need of some fixes, but I rarely see others with a high disconnect count, and am wondering if anyone else here has this problem.
It's pretty frustrating, I'd quit playing online altogether until the netcode patch, but 2 weeks seems so far away. =[

I've never disconnected so much in a game in my entire life. I have around 400-ish games played with about 30 disconnects. I've only quit out maybe 5 times. I hope NRS resets the disconnects once the patch is out.

Ok now I am having problems with KOTH... I find opponents rather quickly but it lags very much. I don't understand why since matchmaking is very very fluid, ranking also is pretty fluid (when I manage to find someone to play with that is, it can take up to 10mn).

so i guess Aussies had no trouble getting this game. Like some government is gonig to stop us right. We should have a thread where we tell our stories of how we get it. Cause i'm pretty sure they were taking strict measures according to Kotaku.
The other night I found an Aussie Room and it actually seemed to be a pretty good connection.
I was having a few dc's during my first night online... i always thought it was ragequits. Or them seeing I was new to online and saying i don't want to face a newbie.

it's so frustrating that one of the major selling points of MK9 was its online, and when it comes out it's garbage? why didn't they take a little more time to make sure it all worked as great as the offline experience? another thing they need to tweak is the menus for online, it's so convoluted. they need to simplify and streamline it a bit more.

Hi i have a problem when i try to get online at MK.. Im not getting further then Connecting Lobby...
Online > Server Availability > Connecting Lobby.. it wont pass that. Do anyone have a solution?

Same problem here dude. It seems to be quite common this week in particular. PSN's scheduled for maintenance tomorrow, so hopefully that will solve it. If not, there is a patch coming out to fix online issues for MK in a week's time.

Well its kinda weird indeed cause 2 days ago it worked perfectly fine and ppl in the chatbox arent facing any issues

its been like this since day 1 for me, I still havent been able to play a SINGLE online game, I think its a router problem, not an online problem with NRS, but im not sure
