ran into another lamer today.
he picks kung lao vs my reptile. he wins w/spin combos and air kick.
next match he picks ermac, i fugn hate ermac. im reptile he wins
then he picks 2 different characters and i destroy him with reptile.
he falls back on kung lao again so i decide to try kitana.
shut down his constant jump at you & hope you jump back at me game w/ AA & fan lift.
instead of realizing his one strategy isn't working and switch to something else he quits crying that I only do one move.

i thought you where talking about me for a sec since i use mainly kung lao and ermac lol, but then you said the guy quit, so thats not me

ya i dislike it when people quit. i take the fatalities, you shoudl too!
I feel like quitting online forever. I played against a very good Cyrax & Sektor player....he beat me 3 times, which was fine, it was a great learning experience. Then I played some punk that used Scorpion and I used Mileena.
I pull off a couple of combos and the dude starts doing hellfire/teleport/uppercut over and over.
I started teleport kicking him everytime he tried to use hellfire and hit him with the projectile when he tried to teleport....if he did teleport I blocked and uppercut him.
Right when I am about to perform a fatality and rip his punk ass head off he quits. Then he sends me a voice message calling me a spammer....I won't share the message I sent back to him.
I have played exactly 12 matches online and have "won" 7 times only to have the other player quit on me, so I have a nice 0-12 record.
This online play is beyond frustrating.

Meh, when people rage quit on me I will ALWAYS send them a goofy message like, "RAAAWR!!! RAGE QUIT!!!! hahah." I had three or four people do it to me yesterday. I think it's hilarious when people do it. Annoying? Yes. But funny to me none the less.

I don't know bro, but this mode needs definitely to be patched up. After a couple of fights, the game lags like there is no tomorrow. The points are gathered very slowly. Each day I gather around 300-400 points only to find out next day that it kept only 20-30 points from the previous 300-400 points.
You aren't missing much, hopefully it'll be fixed soon...

Yeah, that does suck, especially since I wanna play em again to see what I did wrong.
I got all 0's because I beat some guys in KOTH with Stryker; one of the players claimed that I used (in his words) "some time of cheat code or something". :laugh:

I had a good string of games going the other night with somebody...he was winning most of the matches, but there was no lag, and he was fun to play against.
BUT...this ******* took FOREVER to pick his character! And he was only alternating between 3 characters. And he was one of these people who would NEVER pick his character before me, so the whole routine just got old. Eventually I quit during the character select.
It's not Who Wants to be a Millionaire...just pick your goddamn fighter and let's play!!!

Despise this, in any game. Infact, I hate playing anyone who leaves after a single game, I'd compare it to poker, you have to give your opponent a chance to win his cash back.
It also bugs me when people use hidden select, AFTER I've already chosen my character.

1. yep, winning or losing , why not play again , against the same opponent ? What about a "best of 3 games" ? lol, people have fear to lose in this game ? so pathetic .......
2. Totally agreed, I never used before the "hidden select" feature. I guess I never will, probably .... it's boring. In my vision, you should be able to put a good fight with your favourite(s) character(s), no matter what character the opponent choose .... so, picking a character hidden, after the opponent have chosen his/her, looks like some coward act, where people only accept a challenge or to just simply fight, based in what character you choose first, but, instead of showing public , they prefer the cheap way .....

Not a fan of someone using the hidden cursor thing, who cares, just pick your damn character.
Funny thing happened earlier, fought against some people in KOTH, I beat the guy, and he gave me a 0. Than after beating the next person, he gave me a 10. Than sent me a message saying "Does your controller only have a B button?" Guessing since I used a few sweeps in the match, and Reptile's slide, only thing I could think of. Was not abusing it of course. I just wrote back "Nope. It has a X Y A and B button
" I could have been an ass, and fought the next person just using B, whether I won or lose, but oh well.

I used Jax, and beat him, though when he was getting low on health, he kept using his missile. I was able to dash in and get to him. Tried to use a babality just to get a laugh, and he got pretty mad. I was just thinking wow. That and people giving me low respect points, after they lose.

Sorry but I don't feel like being counter picked EVERYTIME lol. funny story, I tried to use hidden cursor once in KotH to avoid being counterpicked, and I accidently picked Jax... I SUCK WITH JAX. KARMA
It's probably because... if he went over a character you could quickly cancel your choice and change again. Going first doesn't mean your locked on your character. I've had it where this guy picked a character, didn't like who I had my cursor heading towards/hovering on and canceled quickly and changed.
That annoys me as well, So do fatalities(Sorry people who love them.) I hate watching them over.. and over... I'd rather just get to the next game and play. I don't even do fatalities myself I just jab them so we can get to the next game quicker.
what character were you? I'm sure you could've gotten past the clone and hit him.
Stats don't matter AT ALL anyways. So you shouldn't quit because of that. There are so many people online who only play to win and not to learn. So stats are extremely deceptive. i've fought people with 500wins 50 losses and they blew complete balls, and i've fought people with 90wins and 150 losses and I had a extremely hard time beating them.
That is one of the reasons they quit the game before losing cuz they want that "fake" i'm good record. what good does a fake "i'm good" record do when someone calls you out, challenges you, and destroys you because you didn't play strong people to get better you played idiots and stayed an idiot.
