Well, not everyone can really sense lag.

I can tell when there's a 50 ms delay from my inputs while some people are fine with 200ms. They adapt well. I don't :)

One way to play almost lag-free is by creating/join a fast connection room.
I created one on PSN called 000FastConnection and 90% of the people over there have pretty good connection.
My ratio in other rooms was about 4 out of 10 fights were decent, and in this room, it's about 8 out of 10.
Including KOTH matches.

People who've got a fast connection usually know that and they join that room whenever they can.

It's changed my online MK9 rating from 30% to 80% satisfaction. :)

I play on the 360, so MoonQuake, that doesnt help me 8( thanks though. But this lag really bums me out because I wipe the floor with my friends locally (and I suck). And Ive run out of things to do that arent multiplayer based... I beat the challenge tower, Ive beaten the game with everyone, really the only thing left is to beat it on hardest without a continue.

I hope its something they can fix, if not, this game will collect some major dust
 
The lag I get in this game is game breaking for me. I know its not my net, Ive had 2 comps running WoW and a 360 running CoD and there was no lag what so ever.

If they do not fix it, this game will collect some major dust.

3am or 3pm this game lags
 
I'm trying really hard not to play online until the full patch drops. It's so hard to stay away from it though, and I'll force myself to play a few games. Definitely lag-tastic. I main Ermac, and not being able to perform the timed combos correctly really hurts. I'm really hoping that full patch takes care of this.
 
Any new infos about the patch yet? I really wanna know when it hits Xboxlive and PSN. Can´t play like this anymore.
I cross my fingers and hope the patch will fix the lag but i doubt it.
 
This game is absolutely terrible online so far. The lag, even when GOOD, still sucks. I play as Jade a lot, so I need some specific timing to be able to pull off her lift-combos, but nope. Just miss. Miss. Miss. Miss. and getting endlessly punched in the face by spam-a-rama. It's like hair pullingly frustrating to lose several times in a row to someone who's terrible at the game because you're playing the stupid game underwater every other second.
 
The only complaint I have is Sub-Zero mirror matches...

Step 1; Ice Clone
Step 2; IceBall
Step 3; Repeat steps 1 and 2
Step 4; ???
Step 5; PROFIT
Step 6; Surprise buttsecks
 
i played online the other night and it felt like mileena was moving in slow motion or would freeze performing one of her attacks. the lag is horrible.

Learn to adjust like most of us have. If you rely on one combo you're going to lose anyway.

But surely I've adjusted. I just thought a complaint thread is for complaints.

Lately what's been pissing me off is the number of people that quit/unplug once they lose. It seems like it happens more times than not. O well, a win is a win I guess.
 
I'm actually losing patience with this game. The online is terrible, I hate having to wait for 6 mins to find a ranked match only to lose because of the lag. I may just stop playing all together until after the patch.

there are so many lame players its ridiculous. Majority of the players I faced had know clue what they are doing. Than they get mad when I woop their butt and send me a message saying. "There is this thing called a vagina, you may like it better than playing video games" lol what does he think he's playing?

i can't wait 6 mins for 1 match so i have yet to play a ranked match. all of my matches are from random challenges in the chat rooms.
 
i have smooth connection, rarely any serious lag. But the thing that pisses me of sooo much are all the spammers. ive lost a good amount of rounds to jerks who just spam the same move over and over again. its ok when you get your ass kicked by someone with skill, but its chep to lose to someone who sucks, so they spam just to win.
 
I just experienced a very annoying bug in KOTH. I had 545 points, I left online mode to play single mode and then went again KOTH, I check my points: 240... I go up again to 325, I tested it by leaving online and in again: 240 points.
I cant explain this phenomenon and any help is appreciated.

that happened 2 me to :( im just not gonna waste my time, i started playing SC4 again.
