I would just like to say a big suck it to all the 360 users who are complaining about a day-long delay for a single thing of DLC, where us PS# users went without any online play or features for months. Stop being such spoiled brats and get over yourselves. NRS doesn't have to make ANY DLC and didn't even have to release patches, but they did so just STFU and get over it.
The Bad:
- Kenshi can still be blinded by the following attacks:
* Kratos' Head of Helios
* Sonya Blade's Kiss
* Stryker's X-Ray Attack -- "Busted" -- which specifically had been brought up to Ed Boon and addressed by him as a "Good Point!" months before release. While it may have given the advantage to Kenshi in an X-Ray enabled match, it would have been appropriate for him to be immune to the attack.
This is good, is called balance.
does anyone have kenshi on XBL yet????
What time?!?!?!?He comes tomorrow for us.
What time?!?!?!?
We already can, they're banning DLC (Skarlet, assuming Kenshi as well) at EVO 2011.Exactly. If Kenshi is immune to certain attacks just because his character is blind that would be ludicrus. Say goodbye to any chance of Kenshi being allowed at tournaments.
No, actually we didn't. the PSN went down at the end of April, returned the middle of May and Skarlet released onto the Playstation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace simultaneously towards the end of June. The only thing we had to wait on was using the Classic Costume vouchers from pre-orders, the blu-ray movies, and special editions.It is only a day late though, and even if he rolled back into next week it wouldn't be the end of the world. We in the PSN had to wait weeks to get the Skarlet DLC

Sorry, I should have specified I am in the EU. We had to wait several weeks after everyone else.
My updated breakdown of Kenshi.
The Good:
- Same Old Kenshi, But Better! The team at NetherRealm Studios were smart and didn't try to fix what wasn't broken here. Kenshi remains the same warrior we were introduced to in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance.
- Great Fatalities (in 3D!). Both of Kenshi's fatalities seem to put the 3D technology implemented into Mortal Kombat 2011 to good use, which is warmly welcomed.
- Great, Fast Combos. I see more lasting appeal for Kenshi to casual gamers and tournament players alike, opposed to Skarlet's response from the community.
- While most of Kenshi's opponents will lose their eye(s) during "Scatterbrained" Fatality, specific characters appropriately will not such as Kano (when performed from the left hand side of Kano), Cyborg Cyrax (Costume 1, MK3), Cyborg Sektor (Costume 1, MK3), Ermac (Costume 1), and Kenshi himself*
The Bad:
- Underwhelming, Predictable Ladder Ending
- Kenshi can still be blinded by the following attacks:
* Kratos' Head of Helios
* Sonya Blade's Kiss
- Human Sektor will not lose either eye during "Scatterbrained" Fatality*
- Strangely, Ermac (in Costume 2 and MK1) will lose his eye(s) unlike the primary costume.
- Character specific eyes (Scorpion, Mileena, Reptile, Baraka, Sindel, Raiden) would have been a nice touch "Scatterbrained" Fatality, but don't really qualify into being ugly to the overall execution to the fatality*
The Ugly:
MK2 Noob Saibot Fatality Bugs when performed against MK2 Smoke. Although this is a fault on the comparability pack and not Kenshi as an additional character.
Overall, Kenshi is mile and miles ahead from what they accomplished in DLC with Skarlet. He's an easy favorite and for being from the 3D era of MK, 2D plane Kenshi just feels right.
