MK: Armageddon Reptile(bandage mask, would fit well with current)
Scorpion unmasked(i think UMK3 i might be wrong feel free to help me)

However due to classic pack i thought of some characters in need
UMK3 Noob Saibot(classic shadow noob)
SWAT Stryker (something like the Armageddon alt)
UMK3 Nightwolf (his second costume is best, but cant beat old school in good graphics)
Cyber Sub, half built alt would be kinda cool. Similar to the cyrax maskless in MK4 gold.
 
Boss pack

Do you think that sometime before 2011 ends, that NRS should release a BOSS pack?

Containing Goro, Kintaro, and Shao-Khan as playable characters!?1?! I mean Goro and Kintaro already have endings, all 3 have babalities, 2 fatalities, and bios... all they are missing is a character select screen icon. And they should release it for $10 on the Playstation Network or X-box Live Market Place

What are your thoughts?...

I hope so.. bosses could be fun for offline only but Ed said that would actually take some work and tweaking, it's not as simple as giving them a select screen icon. there was a hack somewhere on youtube on ps3 and the person had access to all the bosses though. can't seem to find it right now though :/ I'd buy a boss pack for sure, fingers crossed

Wait, does that suggest Skarlet was on the disc?

I think she was PARTIALLY on the disc. not the full model, just the starting female model or something. or so some people claimed before. not 100% on that though. as a full character though, definitely not

Aslong as they remove Shao kahns throw hammer move (WHICH SUCKS!!) i would abslutely love to play as them and against them

I'd be alright with playing the bosses for a bit but they'd get boring quickly. As long as they aren't selectable for online multiplayer, it's all good.

$10 though? Give it to me free, I've got no interest in paying for them.

I'd rather not.

Bosses are meant to be bosses.

Though if they do I think only Goro and Kintaro should be realesed, never Kahn.

I wouldn't throw a fit or anything, but I'm not a fan of playable bosses here. I think NRS went through a lot of trouble to make these bosses seem like badass motherf-----s who will eat you alive if you try to fight them straight-up and playing as them would kind of taint that. I can flawless Goro and Kintaro sometimes, but it's because I use keepaway tactics and try and just dodge 24/7. If I just walked up to them and threw a right hook I'd get my head sundered from my body lol. I like that feeling.

Yeah, I think Goro, Kintaro and Shao Kahn should all be playable. They can all just be tweaked to play more like the normal characters. I also heard that they were all supposed to be playable in the first place, but were removed as playable characters before the final game was released.

i was against them letting any boss be playable. but since they have xrays and 2 fatalities it seems like a pretty cool idea
 
The only thing I'd LOVE to see as far as bosses go, is Motaro being included as a Non-playable boss, with one of the FREE Compatibility packs.

Although, I don't think that will EVER happen. :-(

Well, I played as those characters and can tell you they're no good for 2-player fights ... Here's why:

1) The only combo those three have is [], []
2) They can't jump or duck (aside from jumping special attacks)
3) As of yet, I still haven't found the commands for the fatalities so not sure if they can be performed
4) The special moves are cool and all, but can't chained

The only reason they are a bit "challenging" when fought against is because the game reads your inputs and the characters react to it. I tested this in extreme the very 1st night I got the game, and can confirm the bosses are a piece of cake if you press whatever it is you want to press at the last possible moment. The "beat extreme without continuing" trophy was one of the 1st I got, even though I stink at fighting games.

So, for a boss pack, they're gona need alot of tweaking to become playable. Not worth it if you ask me.

DLC Characters are great and all BUT this what I would want for DLC:

Endurance Mode-2 vs 1 matches against the CPU.

Survival Mode-You have 1 Health bar and beat as many opponents as you can.

More fatalities

New alternate costumes-Classic costumes are cool but I want to see some of the new designs.

The option to select which chapter you play in Story Mode.
The option to skip cutscenes

Brutalities

Add EVERY character to Ladder and Tag Ladder (10 fights is too short even playing on expert)

Quick Match Mode-Meaning instead of playing ladder, you can just have an exhibition match with the A.I.

Custom Matches-Allows you to turn on the kombat codes

Krypt needs more items, ( I have over a million coins with nothing to use them for.)

All DLC Characters need a spot in the Necropolis.

Test Your Luck Ladder

I know that's a long list but that's what I would personally want.

What about YOU?

Human Reptile from the Artbook in terms of New Alternate Costumes.

And for f***s sake Get rid of Reptile's stupid hissing and give him a voice.

No, they do not need to be playable at any level. Keep them as bosses, and use the time you aren't balancing them to create new DLC characters.
