I've been awaiting this movie since it was first announced.
It also has Ras Al Ghul as the featured enemy - probabaly Batman's best overall enemy in terms of originality and thinking style -
They're using Ras in this movie? I didn't know that, man, that makes me even more hyped up for this movie than I was before.

^-^' So long as this movie doesn't stink like th last movie they did for batman.

I'll be happy. :D The last movie... Batman and Robin wasn't it?.... They totally made the costumes so different to the real ones that the characters were ruined appearnces wise. In batman forever another thing occured to me... Bryce is at least 6 feet tall (can't remember the exact height)... O.o' The actor (can't remember who he was) seemed a little... short...

This looks awsome. Does anyone know if batgirl or robin will be in it? I really hope robin isnt i never liked him

No. Neither of them are in it, which is good as it takes away from Batman himself.

This movie is entitled Batman: Begins and it describes Bruce Wayne's childhood (when his parents are killed) and him turning into Batman. So it's the early days of Batman - although the movie doesn't follow the comics.

It should really be a good movie.

yeah, this films marks the franchise's complete restart, so this film has NOTHING to do with the previous 4 films, meaning we could well see catwoman, joker etc. in the future...

Tommy Lee Jones is one of my favorite actors ... but he made a joke of himself in Batman Forever. I know he only signed on ... but you have to realize a bad script when you see one. And know a bad movie when your in one.

Yea, but atleast he didnt make himself look as bad as Arnold did.

not sure if you were being sarcastic.... :D

but that was quite interesting, the cars seems like an impressive piece of engineering and it was funny reading about the drunken guy lol

OMG... that song's DONE! It was overplayed on the radios, and now no one likes it that much.

I do, but that's probably because Green Day's been one of my favorite bands for years and I avoid the radio and MTV, so most of the time I've heard it has been from listening to the CD.

Anyway, who else is planning on seeing this next week? I think I'm gonna go the day it comes out.

Well, I've read all the posts on this thread, the only real question I have left is "Does anyone know how long this is going to be?"

When you think about it, its got to have his parents getting killed, him training in Asia, killing the first bad guy (can't remember his name..damn short term memory), becoming Batman, and then fighting Scarecrow.

This is going to be one long-ass movie. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but I don't know if anyone had really considered that yet.

Actually I've thought about that too. Although, if anyone's seen the Mask of Zorro, that was basically the same way, and that wasn't immensely long (at least not Braveheart-long). They could just do the first hour setting everything up and the second with Batman in all his awesomeness.

But yeah, this could end up being really long. Oh well, I'm still gonna see it, I just hope I'm not let down 'cause I have really high hopes for this movie and have been looking forward to it for a while.

Hey, wait a minute, weren't you just angling for a 3-hour MK movie? So why not a 3-hour Batman movie? Fascist. :P
