No I will not "get out" first 3 days I had the game the lag was HORRIFIC and online was unplayable.. now its better for me

Glad to hear its getting better for some people, I'll have to wait until service is back to test for myself but I'm hopeful.

The online was pretty bad on launch day, but now it seems to have improved greatly (at least on the Xbox). Don't take silence for them not working on the issues. Its also Easter guys, I am sure they are spending time with their families.

I haven't been on lately, but online isn't as bad as everyone is saying. They recommend playing people in your area, so if you aren't doing that it's at your own risk.

I actually believe people who are not experiencing any lag, don't know how to do 7-9 hit combos. It's not just visual lag, but intense input lag.
Also, Natedogcatta, people have continued to ask you to leave the thread, and like some kind of troll you wont leave. You're acting like such an MK fan boy, that you posted misleading twitter info.
So if the MK staff are busy taking breaks, why are they on twitter acknowledging minor stuff like kombat kode glitches?
It's pretty horrible when you think about the fact that they refuse to knowledge something this big, but oh no!, Kmobat kodes have glitches!

I am a rather patient person and, with all the lag complaints, I have no doubt that NRS will feed on this and fix it. Just need to wait a bit, they can't work their magic overnight...
Please learn what trolling is and stop telling people to 'get out' and 'this thread isn't really for you'. This is a public forum where people are free to discuss whatever they want. No one has been name calling, they have been simply responding to the thread.

I'm hoping inside that they are fixing it, although they haven't been one to fix games in the past, but all I'm asking for is a little acknowledgment and respect from nrs. One simple tweet would do.
Unless you suggest Rain be gay in the next game. Then you will be banned.

I was only able to play the game online a few times before PSN went down. After a few matches I couldn't handle it anymore, the lag was horrible, I have not experienced anything like that except in extreme situations in other games but this was happening in every lobby.
We'll see if this is improved when PSN comes back up, but if not, there is a serious problem with the netcode and I would at least appreciate a tweet or acknowledgement that there is a problem and they are looking into it. Especially since they boasted about lag free gameplay on day 1.

You would think in this day and age, common sense would tell you to have an open online beta. That way the game could be much more fine tuned before launch.

Although I agree with people needing to stop telling others to get out, I also agree that Natedogg is ignorant and is obvious. Like the OP said, this thread is about why NRS has not informed us on anything yet, not the lag. Besides, just because Natedogg has not experienced any lag or some other people like you Jade, does NOT mean its smooth sailing for the rest of the community... (Its quite decent for me, although not perfect, as they had promised, but I'm not really complaining about that.)
Now, for the first night and the next night of MK9, I had experienced lag that was terrible that I couldn't even play. The input lag that is. It was also frighteningly long to get a match started, ranked or a quickie, not KOTH, but even KOTH had major lag the 5ish games I've played there.
Now afterwards, the lag was settled and I hardly experienced it anymore, but I still noticed one or two misinputs or timing of the inputs to be off... But really, its nothing big.
Then the PSN went down and still, I have not received any information on why its down and or if they are trying to fix it. Its Easter Weekend, I understand this, but if the NRS team is dedicated like how they sold themselves to be, I'm sure with such a big disaster such as this, they would still try to fix it for us.
Now its almost been a full week since PSN went down, and people are losing faith. The game was said to be flawless and had great lag-free online, but that wasn't true either... Now when PSN is down, we got the message that they tweeted or said, it would take them a couple days to bring back PSN. Its been almost a week and so of course, its taking a lot longer than 'a couple days'. I am sincerely hoping this doesn't take longer than a week. Theres no 'estimation' in sight and so we Playstation players are kept in the dark. How are we supposed to play at all???

This is a public forum and anyone can post their comments in a thread. Unless someone is breaking rules, they are free to continue posting in the thread. It is not at the OPs discretion who is or isn't allowed to post in the thread.
I wont discuss this again....no one needs to 'get out' and no one needs to tell anyone else to 'get out'. If users become a problem, staff with remove them from the situation. Otherwise, it is not breaking the rules to simply discuss that his lag has improved.

No, just because you have good connection doesn't mean the rest of us have shitty connection. I have fast connection. If your theory is correct, why do I not lag on:

Tekken
Call of Duty BO
Gran Turismo 5
NHL 11
? Because we the players, are not the issue, nor is our connections. Maybe for some it is, but it sure as hell aint the majority of us. Stop generalizing and start putting forth an argument, because your biasedness is ignorant.
Of course, I understand that. I never said he should get out, but rather KEEP ON TOPIC. Thats your job, you should be keeping him on topic. His irrelevant posts are is what is annoying to the OP and the others, including myself, I must admit. What a relevent statement. Player skill doesn't determine lag, its just that people play other people in their own area so their is little to no lag in their matches. I play all the time with friends and encounter very little lag during the matches.

What I mean is that if you are not doing long combos, chances are you might not notice input lag.

I notice every now and then when I don't play with my friends, and it usually hits at the worst time. But, its never to a point that the game becomes unplayable. I just recommend that you play with people in your area until the issue is resolved.

Every single frame matters in a competitive fight.
Not to mention I experienced intense lag beyond input lag, I was just getting you and others to admit you're at least experiencing input lag, which isn't exceptable in a game which requires precise combo inputs.

Alright you guys have no right to complain. I played assassins creed brotherhood for 5 months and at first it worked fine, after 5 months I had to quit cause they screwed stuff up. IMO it should be at least a month before you start worrying, Im sure theyll fix it and yelling at them will not solve anything. And at least with them it wont get any WORSE
