Noob Saibot in MK X?

Chapter 1 Sub is Kuai. Beardsly is Kuai. The one that gets his face cut off in the first ever cinematic released is up for debate.

Edit: nailed to a tree

Exactly my point.
That Sub seems to be Bi-Han.
He looks nothing like the Kuai that's been shown thus far.
I honestly don't give 2 turds for Noob Saibot.
I just want an explanation for the OG Sub-Zero other than the bullshit MK9 cliffhanger that they left him on in MK9.

I might be late but I think MKX Sub-Zero is Kuai Liang. Johnny Cage says to SZ, he liked it better when they fought on the same side. The SZ he beats looks like the SZ Cassie and the other younglings go to talk to. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't completely throw away the idea that this SZ is Kuai.

There was no cliffhanger. He was thrown into a massive Soulnado and exploded.

Yeah, it's either he corrupted the soulnado, as the purity of it would have ripped scorpion apart if not for the elder gods
He gets purified and comes out as something new
Or, he's been completely destroyed

The elder gods couldn't have also intervened with Bi-Han, the 1 man who defeated the 2 people (Quan Chi and Shinnok) and their armies, who are a threat to the very existence of the elder gods in MKX?
Helping the 1 man that could very well be your Champion and put a permanent stop to Quan Chi and Shinnok would behoove the elder gods, no?
Who better than the guy that has stopped Quan Chi and Shinnok before?

As for being cleansed, if he is cleansed he could be back as Sub-Zero as well, as that is his pure / clean / non-corrupt form.

Of course it is possible, but they would probably want to make money off of that concept and bring him back as DLC.
it would be cool to see something like his MKA ending in the future, but I at least need to see Noob fight Scorpion haha

Considering Johnny's Stunt-Double variation and Scorpion's Inferno variation, I think it is pretty safe to say that Noob won't be in the game. Maybe as a story cameo or in the Living Tower, but definately not being playable. NRS basically gave other characters Noob's entire gameplay gimmick.

What if Subzero uses his ninja outfit (his main) before his fight with Kano? That would explain why he doesn't have a scar on that outfit. I'm pretty sure revenant Sub-Zero doesn't have a scar either because he uses that outfit during the NR war which happened before Kano scarred him.

The game goes back and forth in time so Sub will be scarred sometimes not always.

I'm surprised nobody thought of this.

Scorpion has a sword like Kenshi and Takeda, in one variation, so they both shouldn't be in the game by that logic.

No, because a sword can be used in many ways and there are many types of swords. However, making shadow clones and summoning minions to attack with was pretty much the one thing that made Noob unique as a character. And now Johnny and Scorpion are doing that. I'm pretty sure that if NRS planned to put Noob in MKX, they would reserve that power for just him and make use of it in many interesting ways in each of his Variations. But as it is now, I doubt Noob will be in the game.

I know it's hard to realize and accept that your (not specifically just you) favourite character won't make it into the game, because the devs have given someone else on the roster the same abilities or powers or even weapons - like how they gave Jade's staff to Kitana in a Variation and then completely scratched Jade off - but that's just how it is.

Jason Voorhees as DLC and you say he has no chance... Nobody has shadows as their main attack besides Johnny Cage who has had shadow powers since MK1 and it's always been the kick. There isn't a dev that has flat out said Noob won't be in, unlike Jade...
There is absolutely no proof supporting either side of the argument, the questions that pertain to him are never actually answered just responded to

I find that theory very unlikely since, Bi Han is nowhere to be seen during the full chapter 1 demo. It's just Johnny, Sonya, Kenshi, Fujin, and Raiden fighting against Shinnok, and Quan Chi.

Cling on to your hope then. I bet you'll get disappointed though.

Noob has always sent out clones of himself to fight at range. Now Johnny has that same power; to send clones of himself out to do moves for him.

I really don't see how Noob could be in the game when you give another character his moveset.

Yeah ONE single fighter in a video game is going to ruin my life OMG pity me :(
Bring something useful to the convo next time, and more importantly a better attitude, as the thread started with a question mark not an answer to the problem

I never said it would ruin your life. Those are your words.
And you complain about my "attitude" just because I don't see Noob being on the roster? I even gave a reason to why I don't think he'd be on the roster! THAT is my contribution! What is YOUR contribution? What do you have to show to back up your statements?

i think noob will be the big boss. they have a habit of combining canon endings to make it so a few characters get affected by the actual ending. Canon endings seem to add together to make a bigger story if that makes sense. so Johnny could of been sent away to seido still so that's why we see him as a different character almost. noob had an ending in a couple games now which made him ruler of netherrealm and which involves havik also, which fits the comic also. In one ending noob gets split into a new being not sub zero or noob so maybe that is a continual story they have or wish to push in that direction using the soulnado. many theorys of how noob is the boss. only other one which i don't want to really belive but makes some sense is balor in some description he sounds like he will fit the boss mold but not really holding my breath on that one (be happier than onaga returning though)

noob is too big a character to just die like that. has boons name and is sub zero from the beginning.

I saw both and even when Johnny Cage hit him with the light post in the story, that looks nothing like the story trailer bearded Kuai, nor does it look like comic Kuai.
It looks like the Sub-Zero that was in the first ever cinematic trailer, which looks nothing like Kuai.
That's my point.
The yellow veins the same ones that Kitana and Sindel had when they were zombies and the "I liked it better when we were on the same side" quote from someone he used to know and fight alongside (unlike Bi-Han) should tell you this chapter one Sub-Zero is Kuai Liang.

I can see him making it in. He's pretty awesome. He was very cool in MK9. Great look, X-Ray, Fatalities, etc. NRS would have a lot of freedom to be able to make good variations for him also.
