Try using a lighter grip. The harder you push the pencil the darker the line and it will smudge. Just a little tip.

It's no problem I draw a lot and used to have the same issue I used a foam ball. Until I tried gripping the end of the pencil and it helpped me so much.

Grip the pencil with three fingers and with the 2 free fingers grip the ball it wi also keep your hand from touching the papper. I also have big hands
