DCP says that he popped up in the truck tour demo but I'm not sure if it's the same demo as the one that can be downloaded. I think he's in, it's just rare to see.

He does pop up, I got him in one match so far.

he's in there; i saw him in the living forest - he's really clear now (not as pixelated), so it looks a little funny at first, but awesome at the same time, lol

i got him twice

he got like a green shirt with some square picture on it

i remember thinking he looks much older, lol

Lol ... Nothing happens ... Pressing Down + Start whenever Dan appears has become my 2nd nature ever since MK2 ... The 1st time he appeared in the demo, I did that involuntarily ... Nothing happened though ... The screen just paused, and I had a long look at him :P
 
Uppercuts and large combos work best to make him show up.
