Next Gen MK game

Is MK10 really in the works?? I seriously hope so. I'm back into MK9 after getting bored of Injustice and its redundant BS online , so MK10 would be amazing. If I had to buy a ps4 then so be it. Just give me Sonya , Jax , and Cyrax and I'm happy.

Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn shouldn't exist in this game at least!!! They are suppose to be DEAD!!!

I'd love create a fighter and I have an idea for my custom character...

Fighting Style: Jade's (preferred), Kitana's, Mileena's, or Scorpion's

If KAK will exist (and I hope it does) here is how it should be laid out. I also hope the options I showed for moves will be in the mode plus more from the newer characters.

Shang Tsung will come back. MK characters don't stay dead. They could just make a loop hole around it saying Shang Tsung soul entered a new body. Similar how when Quan Chi and Shang Tsung killed Shao Kahn it was a clone lol.

Yeah, and unfortunately it looks like MK10 will also be going in that direction, given that Liu Kang is dead AGAIN.

I really hope that he, and a few others can be brought back from the dead in the story, or at the VERY LEAST, be MK10 Krypt unlockables.

I have an uneasy feeling that the whole "MK characters don't stay dead" may not be the case for MK10, or at least not the case for some of the characters.
I get the terrible feeling that some of these characters may be out for a couple of games. :(
This isn't Midway anymore.
 
Raiden wasn't a villain. Just more of an anti hero.
He still wanted to protect Earthrealm, he was just less tolerant of mortals.

While it true it isn't Midway anymore still, a lot of these characters are very popular and I can't see them killing them off completely. Maybe not be part of the main story but still be playable. I still can see Shang Tsung returning for MK10. Maybe characters like Jax I could see not making the cut for the next MK game...However I recall all of them were resurrected by Quan Chi's powers with under his control of course.
 
Let's see how John Vogel deals with continuation now.

It's one thing back in the original timeline to have a few characters die, like Johnny Cage, Liu Kang, Bi-Han and have plausible explanations for their return, But in MK9, they damn near kill off the entire cast and made Sub-Zero a tin can.

And, to top it off, they kill off said "tin can" with a stupid uppercut or punch (I don't remember clearly) from Sindel, so now we have NO Sub-Zero. :(



 
Out of everyone in MK, how come the good guys have to do? Why couldn't it be someone like Baraka, Sheeva, Kano, Ermac, and milliena. to die? It's not like they had an important role in the story. Or if they most of them ever will. They were just Shao Kahn's lap pets.

I do think the characters are gonna come back though. But as mind controlled freaks under Quan Chi's spell. I also have a feeling we're gonna have a bigger roster, longer story mode, but only because it's gonna be on the new gen of consoles. I don't mind having a shit ton of characters in a MK game. That's prolly what NRS needs to do to keep the fans happy. Pleasing the ones who want their childhood favourites, and the new school favourites too.

Is everyone ok with the new timeline? Because even though it's ok I am not sure I am ok. Would anyone want to go to the original timeline or is it just me?
 
The ALT timeline STARTED off fine, till the MK3 part of the story and when they killed off nearly all the noteworthy good guys. NRS team was HIGH as a muthafukka when they wrote the MK3 part of MK9 and I know because only somebody that HIGH could do some shit that Low.


I STILL prefer the OG timeline, though, just pretend like Armageddon never happened and im good.
