New Kombat Kast featuring KP2 @ESL Finals (1.24.2016)

ESL announced the detailed schedule of ESL Season 2 Finals:

The most interesting part is: Viewers and attendees will be treated to “The Mortal Kombat Festival” live from the ESL America studios during the tournament, which will include a special live Kombat Kast featuring new Kombat Pack 2 character gameplay hosted by NetherRealm’s Tyler Lansdown and Derek Kirtzic

I knew it! I had a feeling that NRS will make use of the hype around the Season 2 finals and will debut a new trailer but it seems that they'll do more than that. Gameplay breakdown means that the first (?) KP2 kombatant will be out at the end of January, probably on January 26. The downside is that it will most likely be Leatherface unfortunately.

probably going to be a Alien/Leather face kombat kast because no one is even going to know who Bo Rai Cho is. Hes basically being re-introduced for the casuals who don't know jack sh** about the MKDA-MKA games. A reason why choosing 3D era characters as DLC is a bad idea. They should have just been on the starting roster instead of the usual classics and their kids.

Where/when was this? I can't remember them saying it was The Pit, rather than just 'a klassic stage'. I'm not saying you're wrong, just that I don't remember reading it was definitely The Pit. Not at all surprising, though.

It would be pretty awesome if in the Kombat Kast that they reveal the next KP2 character they do a Pit Brutality / Stage Fatality.

As for stage confirmation, if it's not The Pit, I'd be really surprised.
At this point I'm expecting The Pit.

I feel like it's taking a long time for nrs to show us dlc 2. I'm really interested in seeing the pit.

I am 100% NRS have at least one character ready for release, but in cooperation with WB, they do their best to artifically extend interest around MKX.
