Well, I guess :
- Unmasked MK3 Sub-Zero (obviously)
- and since they (understandably) do only palette swaps for the compatility packs, I guess MK3 Scorpion (maybe Ermac or Reptile, but if Sub-Zero has a new skin, Scorpion has to have on too, right?!)

It is obviously unmasked sub zero, but as for the other, since boon hinted at it ages ago i think cyber smoke. Maybe alternates for DLC characters

That's my reasoning for guessing UMK3 Scorpion, but I guess it could be any of the UMK3 ninjas.

Sub Zero's Bi Han alt doesn't count. It's a second costume, everyone has a second costume. That's like saying Jax has too many costumes because one has metal arms and the other doesn't.
Sub Zero has two costumes(just like everyone else) Retro SZ was a pre pay incentive(don't hear any complaints about Scorpion, Ermac, Reptile klassics), Cyber SZ is a seperate character.

Your argument=fail.

Not really.

I remember way back in December 2010 / January 2011 that the most requested DLC characters for MK 9 were RAIN and CYBER-SMOKE.

I could EASILY see NRS being lazy with a Cyber-Smoke alternate costume, instead of making him a fleshed out DLC character.

Bi Han is a whole different character. It feels much more than an alternate costume to me but I guess you're not a big enough Sub-Zero fan to realize that. So no I don't fail

Cyber SUB-ZERO. It's still another Sub-Zero

Why would Cyber Smoke need to be a fully fleshed out character?

Does Cyber Smoke really need the spear/trident when all they need to do is have Cyber Smoke shoot the smoke bomb out of his chest.

Does Cyber Smoke need the teleport uppercut? When Cyber Smoke can just keep Smoke's teleport punch to begin with.

Smoke all ready has the invisibility and air throw, two moves that Cyber Smoke all ready possessed.

Again, I believe the only reason Cyber Sub-Zero was fleshed out as a character was because of the simple idea that he had special moves added to him that original Sub-Zero didn't possess. I am sure if they didn't give Cyber Sub-Zero the bombs, dive kick and teleport he probably would've been a third outfit for Sub-Zero. But I think that since they decided to give a handful more special moves they decided to give him a whole new fighting style on top of it so that you wouldn't say "he plays just like Sub-Zero, except he has bombs, teleport and dive kick."

2 Sub-Zero's was just as dumb, IMO.
I could care less for 2 Smokes, either (Repetitive characters are dumb).
I'm just stating the likeliness of the path that NRS would probably take, to make sure that more people got the compatibility pack.

As for Cyber Sub-Zero:

i think its cyber smoke as well which i dont wanna believe, he should have been his own character in this game

Oh I agree, two Sub-Zero's are repetitive.

They could've just let Sub-Zero have his teleport from MK vs DC. I mean, it isn't like they don't have the animation for it, Cyber Sub-Zero has it as his tag out.

And I also agree with Cyber Sub-Zero taking up an unnecessary spot on the roster, that should've gone to Rain to begin with.

I still don't know why they made Cyber Sub-Zero, with the fan base being broken over Smoke being turned into a Cyborg, you figured they would've had the foresight to think there might even be a bigger backlash for a bigger character.

As far as Smoke goes, somehow I don't think the backlash would have been as big, due to people being able to play as both versions in MK3.
Cyber Smoke could have been a main character, with his 2nd costume being the MK9 ninja alternate.

Either way, it will probably be included with the compatibility pack on Tuesday, which in the end = happy fans.
I just would have preferred Cyber Sub-Zero being an alternate costume, as well, in order to free up roster space.

We know it's unmasked Sub-Zero and one other... Probably Scorpion.

I doubt it's a non-ninja, and I also doubt it's Cyber Smoke - they don't fit the pattern of previous compatibilty pack releases, and character specific costumes are more expensive to produce. Smoke applies here, since his VO would need re-editing to sound more robotic.
