Chainsaws do not belong in Mk. Every time I see you suggest this I cringe. How the hell could it even work?

What they just conjure one? That's about the only way someone could use a chainsaw because its not exactly hideable. Nevermind the fact that chainsaws are heavy and need to be held with two hands????

Every weapon in Mk is an actual weapon. Staffs, daggers, knives, swords, katanas are all weapons. Chainsaws are not weapons. They are tools and are only used as weapons in campy horror movies.

Neither. I'm a fan of the hard electronic music that we got in the MK films. I'd rather have that. lol

And I remember Nasty suggesting Gaga music for MK. Now, I have absolutely nothing against Lady Gaga... In fact, I like her a lot. But she definitely has no place in the MK world.
 
Anyone who thinks this bubble gum pop bullshit belongs in MK better read these lyrics and tell me why a song carrying such lyrics does not belong...

Corrected!

Spears kicked balls from her "Criminal" video, poisoned a guy after seducing him in her "Toxic" video, and used a mic to beat up guys in her "I Wanna Go" video. Besides that, she also high kicked a guy, beated up a few more guys, and blew up a whole place in her "Break the Ice" video. Just because her genre is pop doesn't mean she can't kick @$$. She doesn't need to rip spines out to be brutal. Infact forget the spine rip. Crushing a man's jewels can cause a fatality already infact. lol

@ Sub 711: If they can cut through people they are weapons. If it hurts living things, they're considered weapons. Look at the Manhunt series. Weapons vary from telephones, pens, wires, and other supplies that can be found in a household or office.

Kira can have some kind of circular saw since chainsaws are used by other characters from different games anyways.

-Yikes... Okay. I really really hate to be the bad guy here, but Britney Spears is not an ass kicking super chick. She's a puppet. She has been most of her life. She's admitted it. The industry fried her brain until she was no longer able to make any decisions for herself. If anything, Spears is a very sad story of what the music industry does to "pop stars".

-No saw for Kira. Let it go. lol She's more of a dagger girl, anyway. And to be honest, I don't really want to see her in MK9. She wasn't that great of a character to me. I'd rather them give us a new female character.

That genre is neither musically nor lyrically violent enough for MK. And don't think that what you see in accompanying music videos somehow "makes" the song more violent...it doesn't.

Those songs still scream "ACTION". But anyhow, I wasn't referring to a Britney Spears music for this game. I was looking at Lady Gaga's Aura, which had a music video of the movie "Machete Kills".

But if there has to be a pop song that would for my ideal MK it'd definitely be Rihanna's "S&M". Also Christina Aguilera's "Fighter".

But again, I change my mind about the pop songs and decided to have music similar to Christie"a Dead or Alive 3 theme.

@bbblp and Ricochetmatt: About Kira, I think that cyber punk would be nice. Anything better than Kano's and Sonya's moveset.

@destroyer 13: The BFG fits Kobra, Stryker, Jax, or Darrius. Lol

See though there's your problem again. DOA, Machete Kills, Manhunt, Bloodrayne, Lollipop Chainsaw. NONE of that is MK and it's never going to be. AT ALL. EVER.

Every idea you throw out would fit something Im sure, but not Mk. The fact you think Rihannas S&M would fit Mk shows just how out of touch you are with what MK is. Its not some slutty murderous series.

It's a tournament themed fighting game which happens to include blood and fatalities. That's it. Are the women scantily clad? Yes, but look at other VG series and you will see that it's common in the industry, not just MK. So please stop with these crazy ideas. They make me cringe.

I like to give my piece of mind. So I will keep giving out ideas. I believe evil female characters or femme fatales (even who are good) already have (and should continue to have) slutty merderous moves and fatalities. Here they are from MK9...

The only one I consider slutty is Mileena. The others may dress slutty and occasionally do a little sexy move, but that doesn't make them slutty... Especially in a universe where every one dresses in skimpy costumes (which really needs to stop, imo).

Exactly Nasty keeps thinking these characters are slutty when they aren't. Maybe not every VG franchise has scantily clad women, but A LOT do. It's how they make money. You're right on one thing Sex does sell. However, what you're pitching isn't just sex. Its over the top sexual acts which are just niches. These little niches don't fit MK at all and I dont even understand how you think they do.

Mileena is the only slutted up character personality wise and she didnt even start out that way. Jade, nor Skarlet nor Sindel (ew) are sexualized. It's in your head Nasty.

Jade pole dances. Skarlet does a slutty pose while blood falls on her during one of her fatalities. Oh and Sindel kicks a guy in the crotch and in the @$$ (literally with the enhanced special flip kick) and walks like a slut. And those "niches" fit every M rated fighting, RPG, horror, action, and adventure video game. ;)

And Kira can wait until MK11. She would be coming in the future with a new moveset.

I want Li Mei to have that Shish Kabob fatality again AS A REGULAR FATALITY and NOT a customized fatality.
