Sex sells? Yeah, well great games sell as well. MK doesn't need slutty females to make money. No one buys a Mortal Kombat game to stare at Mileena's tits and vagina. No one. If they want to keep Mileena as the queen slut of Mortal Kombat, fine. But I swear to God if MK10 comes out and Sonya is wearing some skimpy outfit (AND HEELS) I will open a vein.

That sounds awful. These people are capable of creating some really far out and interesting costumes... Why waste a character with pasties and floss? Not only does it make their character look boring and desperate, but it takes away from the character as a whole.
Before MK9 I was a huge Mileena fan. But the character has been reduced to skanky psycho chick and it's not all that appealing to me. I enjoy playing as her in MK9 simply because I'm really good with her, but I can only do so if I use the classic costume. Her default costume is insulting, to be honest.

all jokes aside I agree. I personally think that sexs has a part in selling just about everything (Music video, Pepsi commercials, Dead or Alive are good examples) but I also think that its not the main reason that it sells. I mean I know I for one didnt buy Mk9 because of the bikini wearing no bra having women in the game. I bought it because I am and Always will be a Mortal Kombat Fan

You see its this kinda of argument that kinda grinds my gears. Im really starting to think that anyone who says this hasnt seen a Bruce Lee movie at all. The only thing Bruce and Liu have in common are being shirtless, high pitched kiap, and the their fighting style of choice....
Bruce characters in most of his movies (Except for Way of the Dragon or Return of the Dragon depending where you are from) fought for revenge. In the Big Boss he promised his Mother he would not fight but couldnt do it due to the fact that all of his new found friends were killed
In the Chinese Connection he fought to get revenge on the Japanese for killing his Master and as a result of killing just about everyone of them he was given the death sentence
In Enter the Dragon yeah a part of his reason for joining Hans tourney was so he can defeat Han and bring honor to the Shaolin but it was also because again he was out for revenge for the death of his sister.
So if anything Liu is not just a Bruce Lee clone and he is not a boring character. Liu was the only one who trained for Mortal Kombat. he was the only one besides Raiden who knew what would happen if he lost. He was the only one there not out of revenge, or for his own selfish desire, he fought to save the world. Thats the characteristics of a true hero.
Ok now back on topic. Id like to see a new race of characters maybe like a hidden clan of warriors from Outworld or the Neatherrealm

But porn doesn't have violence, blood, and gore in it. MK can pull it off. They should be able to go as dark and gritty as Thrill Kill, Manhunt, and God of War series.
Besides my character ideas, I'd want music that's dark as Christie's Dead or Alive 3 theme, "Monster".

he he umm yeah, about that. i kinda bought it to look at the females' tasty bits. for me its kinda a fighting game staple ya know, a time honored tradition if you will. if a game doesn't have some sexy ladies i kinda feel like i'm getting screwed and not in a good way. all the J-fighters have the sexpot, heck they even sexed up chun-li with her black dress in sf4 (mmmmmm black dress, so low cut, so seductive). come on the world is becoming sluttier and sluttier by the day. fantasy should mimic reality right? Uhm... Wow. :vroam:Of course she was. I never said she wasn't. I just think they went too far with it in MK9. She wore twice as much clothing in Deception and Armageddon as she did in MK9. I mean, her vagina was very close to playing 'peek-a-boo' with us in MK9.
It shows a complete lack of character appreciation to just go and make them a sexual object like that. I'm not a prude or anything... In fact I am very open to sex and nudity... But Mileena went from being a character that means something to a character that has been turned into a sex toy of sorts.

Khrome with mimetic polyalloy (liquid metal) powers like the T-1000 from Terminator 2. There are no white ninjas in MK currently so to make him look less like Smoke, u can make Khrome in white and silver and orange (seeing as how Tremor won't be in another MK, might as well transfer his colour to Khrome) with plasma effect (Shown below) and/or exo-skeleton.
Also Plasma grenade as one of his moves:
I've been searching for artists to draw Khrom, so that Khrome can earn his place in the MKX roster. Now u may or may not agree with my vision of how he should be, but I'm willing to spend 300 pounds of my hard earned money on the drawing.
That is not Khrom, that is Smoke! If it looks like a duck and smells like a duck, you don't call it a mongoose, you call it a duck!
If you don't want even the mere appearance of looking like Smoke, then don't make it a ninja to begin with!
