My human Scorpion sketches ( WIP )

I haven't done any sketching in probably a decade, but mortal kombat has inspired me enough to give it a shot again, in just a few minutes I came up with a few rough sketches, my personal favorite, scorpion , you can see his eyes because at this point he is still human, you can probably notice some inspiration on the costume from Legacy, I'm planning to give him a mechanical shooter for his kunai, hopefully realistic enough to make it into a costume i plan on getting together.

I will continue to update soon, but here's where I'm sitting so far. What do you guys think?

I decided to clean up his face a little bit, i gave him more realistic japanese eyes, but felt the piece holding his mask together looked uncomfortable on top of his ears, so i decided to expand the mask and make two holes for a better fit, and it looks kinda cool cuz from the side you can see the mask looks like the letter S , I have not done much progress on the rest of the costume.

here is a better close up, still not done. plus started some other sketches, just the outlines as you can see, i fill it up later. here is one i started with subzero

Im glad you like it ! I started working on the subzero vs scorpion sketch and you can see the differences from the sketch i posted earlier, i began modifying scorpion and i ended up with the specter version. I have started so many that i still havent finished a single sketch :lol:
