No problem dude. That's why its nice to stick around in the forums. There are ppl like me who just check stuff for no reason haha. I got the limited edition from gamestop. The kollector's is a bit too much for me. The mk9 tournament edition was awesome though, and I have that.
 
i GOT MY KOLLECTORS EDITION WOO!!!(Ric Flair voice) haha im SO damn glad it ended up being back up. I really want that steel book. 2 day shipping so i guess ill just watch online fights until i have it myself.
 
now i'm not pissed hahaha, almost ordered one from gamestop. got the coarse edition for my brother as a birthday gift and just ordered the import edition for myself
 
I really envy you guys pre ordering right now. I'm still waiting for Canadian retailers to update their systems so I can order.

If I were to order the Coarse Edition from the States, it would cost me 25 dollars in shipping, plus potential import/duty fees. On top of that, the exchange rate sucks donkey balls right now, so I think I'd be paying over $200 Canadian for the Coarse Edition if I were to order from America.

I have a question. If you don't buy the kombat pack can you get the dlc characters that are included in the pack later as a dlc?

Yes.
It has been confirmed that "Kombat Pack" is just another fancy word for "Season Pass."

I will be getting the regular PS4 version of MKX because Scorpion stuff doesn't interest me, and I plan to get the DLC individually, rather than paying for the Kombat Pack and potentially getting screwed over with characters that I may not want.
 
Thank you. Me too am gonna get the regular mkx although scorpion is my favorite but am not gonna spend that much money. And am not interested in guest characters so i will wait for the dlc
 
Is there any game that have released any DLC through pre-orders and other special conditions that haven't made it available later?!

As much as I would love to get my hands on one of the collector's edition, I have to unfortunately pass up the opportunity... It's too much money, even for the $98. I kinda want to save as much money as I can (while hunting for a better job) to get a car and eventually an apartment to move in with my boyfriend.

Unless.......

I bring out my puppy dog face to him, and beg him... and do nice things, girlfriend things... Although he's already getting me Evolve.

I don't mind that it's Scorpion getting the attention again, but I'm not jumping the gun to get some new skin for him and a statue. If it was Sub-Zero, that would be a totally different story.

But like I said, can't afford the fancy smashy stuff so I'll just pre-order the original stuff and just get Goro. Not to mention, there's no art book so it's not a complete missed opportunity to get something awesome.

OMG you guys crack me up!

Anyways, I'm quite content with the Import Edition. I got the MK9 KoKollector's edition for the bookends cause I DESPISE using fightsticks.
 
To any Canadians that give a damn, I emailed EB Games inquiring when they'll have the Special Editions available for Pre Order. The reason why I'm not going through Amazon is because there's no Launch Date guarantee and I'm not sure about whether they're providing Goro.

I'll update as soon as I hear from them.
