Mortal Kombat X Kollector's Editions Announced!

im getting it for PC so im looking at the premium edition. thing is though about The Kombat Pack, it says it includes access to four add-on playable characters from Klassic Kombatants to Iconic guest characters.

But they dont say who these characters are so theres no reason for me to go ahead and buy it. Do NRS expect people just to buy this on blind faith? im not going to go ahead and buy it not knowing what it is. you wouldnt go on amazon and buy a DVD or Bluray and not know what film it is! yeah just send me any film! as long as i get to watch a movie its fine! cmon wtf

so my question is do you think they will announce whos in this kombatant pack soon? or leave it right till the end? the latter seems really stupid in my opinion. as for me and im sure many others there are certain characters that they could announce in the pack that would seal the deal and id buy instantly all im looking for is one awesome character out the 4 and that would instantly seal the deal and id buy right now.

:if The predator is a guest = Boom! deal!

: if spawn is a quest: = Boom! deal!

: if sindel is one of the classic kombatants = Boom! Deal!

: if Nightwolf is one of the classic kombatants = Boom! Deal!

im sure theres many other characters possibilities that could tip the scales in favour of buying it.

but not knowing anything = zero$$ from me. im not paying $90.00 for a lucky dip

NRS need to stop being super secretive fanny pops and just announce whats in that kombat pack already :)
 
Damn i wasnt going to have the money until tomorrow.. Damn family member was giving me a hard time and did not want to use her card until i get my money tomorrow(silly right?) and now i cant get the kollectors edition? thats insane to me. I remember the ke was out for a while before i preordered and got it for MK9.

If you Pre-Order via Amazon you don't actually pay until the item ships.
 
I jst wanted the steel stuff mainly. It sucks that there is no art book though. Guess ill just get the one from GS. But what is key art?

does anyone know how much it is just to buy the game on its release date? no preorders, no special edition bullshit. just the game itself via digital download?

I really wanted they add a concept art book like they did with MK9.

I'm pretty happy there's no art book. That means that the concept art will be in the game's Krypt this time. MK9's Krypt sucked because none of the concept art were concepts, they were all final results. Only the art book showed off what the characters could have potentially looked like.
 
One thing I don't think is quite clear... Are these characters in the 'Kombat pack' going to be available day 1? Or is this a season pass kinda deal? If it's day 1, I'm kinda surprised no one is jumping down NRS' throat for that level of day 1 dlc. 4 characters would be a pretty big number to hold back.

It has already been established that it's pretty much like a seasons pass for MK9. As characters are released, you will be able to download then right away. The Kombat Pass should be cheaper than buying all the characters individually.
 
Ok here's what's bugging me right now.

I preordered the Amazon Edition earlier today, does that mean I don't get Goro?

I'm also planning on getting the digital version for my PS4 cause I'll just be playing it THAT much.

Psn is saying "Preorder MKX Premium edition and access legendary fighter Goro as a bonus!

Does that mean he's premium edition content ONLY?

Or can I preorder the standard edition on PSN and still get him?

It's a season pass. Rigo Cortes already confirmed that they haven't even started working on the DLC characters yet. Save for Goro I suppose. But he isn't part of the Kombat Pack.

I'm 99% sure that Goro isn't a pre-order exclusive, he's a New copy exclusive. Meaning Goro comes with every "new" or unopened retail copy of Mortal Kombat X. His code is inside the case. None of the KE's on Amazon mention having Goro. But I'd be willing to bet that all of them do. I mean if he comes with the standard edition, why not the special?

The Goro DLC has replaced the Kombat Pass DLC in the image. The listing still says that we're getting the Kombat Pass though.

One last thing.. is Goro part of the Kombat Pack then? He's one of the 4 included?
