MORTAL KOMBAT X general discussion

The one thing I liked about Legacy was the Liu Kang story arc. They actually brought to light something that nobody ever thinks about. The Mortal Kombat tournament is held on an inter-dimensional island, nobody outside a few reclusive societies even know that it exists. So when Liu Kang gets back from saving the god damned planet everybody treats him like the nobody he's always been.

Granted he lives in the Shaolin Temple in the game's story, but it's still very interesting to think about.

I didn't see that part of the script. That is interesting. Didn't the actor playing Johnny Cage post something on Twitter a while back saying legacy 3 though? I guess Ian Anthony Dale isn't returning which sucks. He made for a good scorpion.

Yeah he did when kevin was in charge though but we have a new diretor now and since the cast leak has mkx fighters like d'vorah it the mkx series they are making and the reason i think ian not scopion probably want to folow the comics this time or ian probally doing other stuff right now and has no time to do scorpion
 
I just noticed this writer wasn't involved with the first two seasons so with that and a new director, I'm a little more optimistic for this series. I know some people are fans but I really thought Casper Van Diem was awful in season two. Not looking forward to seeing his horrible acting again.
 
Never liked most of the actors they got for that series. Kitana and Mileena are kinda chinese (wtf?!), Sonya looks really old... I would love a new movie featuring some great stars, as Angelina Jolie as Kitana and Mileena, Keanu Reeves as Kenshi, but i don't think another movie will ever happen.

Haha I can't stand Angelina Jolie either. Keanu is pretty badass. I could actually see him being Kenshi. I don't care if they don't speak English, I want the guys from the raid movies. I wouldn't completely count a movie out. I don't think the studio liked what Kevin was doing and put everything off until a new team will be hired.
 
MKX definitely changed my opinion of Kitana. She went from the most boring MK female to a very appealing character for me.
 
Well, I'm sold. MKX has all of my favorite characters. Raiden, Sub-zero, Kitana, Kung lao. This game is a definite buy for me. Though i still really don't like Sub-zero's fighting style. It looks too "meh".
 
hi all - i'm new to this forum. I havent played MK seriously since MK2 as a kid. I rented MK 4 from blockbusters and played Tanya. I'm a UMVC3 player and with marvel slowing down in my area MKx hopefully will fill that void.
upon release can you purchase the digital copy the same day as a physical copy? is there a waiting period? i really prefer to download games, so i dont have all these games to switch in and out.
Also is there any chance that either Tanya ,Sindel, or Fujin will be playable in this new game.

Sindel Killed half of the cast in the last game and died with them, but Tanya and Fujin have a good shot at being in.
