Speculation is just part of the fun before the release, I dont over think it, but I do like to speculate based on some of the outside information or inside info (i.e. boots).

You have to learn that when on the internet, if something resembles something else, even if just the slightest, people will make it their focal point and will blow it so much out of proportion that it is the only thing anyone can focus on, ignoring everything else, even if it makes no sense.

I just can't ever get around to liking that look for Sub-Zero. His secondary made things even worse. I applaud for you whoever likes it, great! Me on the other hand, I just want that badass secondary he had in Deadly Alliance.

That render he had just was sick.

I bet by the time we stop counting on anything new, BAM! They'll release something awesome. Then another dry spell will follow. I guess this is what you get when you love something so much.
 
If Liu Kang becomes a dark character, chances are, Tanya will take advantage of the situation and team up with him to destroy the Forces of Light.
