It would be funny, but I'd also be annoyed if Noob Saibot was in MKX with that alt costume, and we got no Havik for MKX.
I'd take Havik over Noob for MKX, personally.

Same here.
It would be cool to see how characters age over time in MKX, especially over a 25-year span.
 
I wasn't even mad. I just don't see the point of asking for the same shit every time we get a new game.

There could be some pretty drastic changes in age and appearance, if that's the case.

Most likely (IMO) Jonnny and Sonya will have year 5 year 15 and year 25 as costumes not variations.

How is asking for different alt costumes for other characters that aren't "ninjas" considered the same shit?

I don't need classic costumes for MKX, but different costumes for Kotal Kahn, Ferra / Torr, Raiden and Kano (for example) would be nice to see, instead of the favoritism going to 1 or 2 characters getting the majority of the costumes, with the rest of the roster getting screwed.

MK9 was the nostalgia (MK1 thru UMK3, version 2.0) game, which is why I specifically mentioned that "non-ninja" klassics for that game would have been nice.
As for MKX, though, it would suck ass if only Scorpion and Sub-Zero got costumes while the rest of the "non-ninja" cast got screwed over.

To be fair, most of the non-ninja character designs in mk9 were just updated verisons of the originals. The ninjas were the ones who had the most drastic changes.

What does the different MK9 designs have to do with anything?
The fact remains that all the MK9 DLC costumes were just palette swapped MK1 thru UMK3 ninjas, because it was easier for NRS to do.

I don't even know who I was talking to. I skim over posts for the most part. But I was saying that I don't understand how people keep asking for classic costumes every single game.

I agree.
For MK9, I get it, it was the nostalgia game. Fine.

For MKX, though, I do want to see more costumes (not classic) for more characters on the roster.
It sucked that Batman and Superman got all the good costumes in Injustice.

The superman/batman love in Injustice was ridiculous. However, they are two of the most iconic superheroes of all time. If you can only release 30 costumes, shouldn't those two get the bulk of them?

MKX is suppose to be the passing of the torch so I fully expect them to show love to the lesser knowns this time around.

Why, though?
Just because those 2 are the most iconic, that automatically means screw over the rest of the roster?
Why can't the costumes be spread out more evenly?
 
Rest of the roster got extra alts too for the most part.
The only ones out of the original roster who didn't receive 3rd alts were Killer Frost, Sinestro and Shazam.


Besides, very few of the characters got original NRS alts. They were mostly from existing comics. And Supes and Batman easily have the largest pool to choose from.
 
I used bat girl...I gave up on that game because it seemed more like a zoned type game and I like to actually fight...hell I sucked at the game...back to block ???wtf???..however I would have played more of bat girl got more dlc

It really puts a vice on their creativity. Every time they try to do something different, fans bich and cry about it. Deception Sub-Zero had great costumes, but because he wasn't dressed like a Scuba diver people hated them. It's like you people just want to buy MK3 over and over again.

I agree, Sub-Zero had awesome new looks in Deception. That just goes to show that its fine for Netherrealm to do something new.

But to be fair, MK9 was basically next gen Trilogy so wanting or having MK3 and other retro costumes makes sense.

Exactly.
Some retro costumes for MK9, like the ones in the videos that I posted would have been cool to see in MK9.
I could care less for retro costumes in MKX.
 
For MKX I want to see some real outside the box ideas for alternate. The kind that really surprise you with how original and unpredictable they are.

MKD had some of my favorite designs.
