Mortal Kombat Poetry

(This literally came off the top of my head.)

How did Mortal Kombat start?
It started with Shang's tournament
With all the violence, he called "art"
We're not sure what he meant.

He brought fighters from all around
Like Scorpion and Lui Kang.
Some weren't completely sound,
some went out with a bang.

The movie star fought first,
His name was Carlton.
His opponent had a thirst
For the blood that Tsung had chosen

They fought on the stage,
In front of lots of bald guys.
It was a fight for the age,
Okay, some of those were lies.

Many kombatants fought
for the prize at the end.
None of them thought
How the outcome would bend.

There were rivalries
Older than the game.
Bi-Han died unfortunately
but died all the same.

We're almost done
with the first rounds.
The finalist stands above the sun
above all the opponents he beat down.

Lui Kang had the task
of defending Earthrealm.
Raiden had to ask,
"are you ready for the helm?"

His new opponent
One with four arms.
Goro stood apparent,
waiting without alarm.

Lui Kang stood firm,
with his lotus abilities.
He received no harm
But Goro lost his stabilities.

The last one stood,
Shang Tsung as the challenge.
Lui Kang understood
the Champion's privilege.

The final was bloody
Both kombatants tired.
Tsung's day turned cloudy,
When Lui Kang fired.

Tsung had lost,
but still escaped.
With the rest of his post,
with Kitana and Jade.

Lui Kang stood with victory
named Eathrealm's Champion.
There was no contradictory
Also, no witty pun.

You are useless you shall no longer live
You have failed me, victory was not a gift to give
To the earthrealm warriors, we invade their land
You have left us with no leg which to stand
The 1000 year champion has perished
It was victory we forever cherished
All the labour we underwent before
Has to be completed again once more
What will you do?

Shakka Kahn dropped the word bomb on you

I hate poetry with a burning passion, whether it rhymes or not.

BUT since this was MK poetry, it was creative and a fair read.

Nice job Bruzzrack.
