Then how is it that a different thing, based on the same EXACT topic, with the same director and different writers, turns out that much better.
Writers DO have that much influence in the project, and the writing for Rebirth sucked ass?
If Kevin had written both the Rebirth and Legacy series himself, then I'd say that it's all on him, but that's not the case.
Kevin got the script that was written and directed it.

If there were bad camera angles, bad fight scenes, bad dialogue or bad acting in general, then yeah I'd say that it was Kevin's fault for not directing better, but the Rebirth STORY is what sucked.

Same goes for MK9.
If the MK9 story was upsetting, you'd wonder what John Vogel was thinking, not Ed Boon.
 
"Scorpion and Subzero, deadliest of enemies but slaves under my power." This is the only thing I want to know about the two ninjas. I could care less about their families or what hood the grew up in.
 
Yeah that will make a lot of sense for people that dont know much about mk, just cut all the story and build up and just fight random people all over the place, thats mostly what killed mk with annihilation.
 
I'm gonna be honest..... I'm actually excited to see this new Liu Kang. I always been into dark characters. And he has that dark feeling that I enjoy watching. He has a different evil!
