Mortal Kombat HD

And what does that make you? A video game market understander?!? Cut the crap, you didnt have to use these words. They just came outta nowhere while I thought we were having a gentle discussion.

Because calling someone "a video game master" was appropriate? You were just reacting because I showed how you were wrong. I never said YOU were foolish; I said it WOULD BE FOOLISH for a GAME COMPANY to make the kinda mistake you mentioned.

Instead of mocking me, you could've just acknowledged your folly and reveled in you newly-acquired knowledge. I got schooled similar manner, but instead of insulting someone who was more educated that I was, I listened and gave them respect... and not by using TRMK's rep system, either. :)

Calling you a video game master is insulting? Folly? Oh well..."You will learn respect!"

its gorgeous

I fell for this pic ago, I thought this is the real HD, but after seeing John Montenegro's TEST YOUR MIGHT/Kano The Kano in this Fake photo and the Kano from John Montenegro's MKHD is quite similar/same.

People, let's go torture them all till they finish MK HD.

HAHA!

Could this puppet suggest MK1 HD? Probably not, but it's cool nonetheless.

It's definitely neat, but I'm certain they'd have gone with CGI. If your friend made it, he's got talent cause it looks almost exactly like the original model.

Im so not buying that Kollection it is uninteresting and old. They should have released an HD remake like Capcom did for SF2. The outdated sprite MKs aint gonna sell much this time...

Anyone could just get MAME or SNES9X and just play MK,MK2,MK3, and UMK3 that way, with real arcade graphics and MAME's video enhancement options. Also, Project64 and MK Trilogy. I don't what they were thinking not making an HD version. Certainly not a money making decision.

You'd be surprised. The big draw here is the online component, and these are BY FAR the most beloved games prior to MK9. And the SNES versions are ass compared to the arcade versions, SNES emulators just won't cut it.

@krazyhugo: nobody gives a shit about the sprites when the gameplay is on point.

With MAME old Kombats are perfect. Online playing is not important for me absolutely as i have friends, we sit here, drink beer and play MK - it's much more fun than just online playing with whom you even don't see. Maybe, it would be comfort just to have the 3 klassics right on my PS3, but we know that:
1. They WERE working on MK HD Kollection.
2. They cancelled it right near the completion. ===>
3. They HAVE it almost done, but they don't want to give it to us, they don't care how we're obsessed.
I don't know what the reasons are. Thanks for MK9 and cool DLCs, i really appreciate and buy them as it was great idea. But what they did with MK HD is just dirty, meanly, and i don't want to support it buying what they toss to us instead of what we expected the whole year. I'll better run MAME and play klassics for free.

*But I'll certainly buy non-HD MK Arcade Kollection when MK HD Kollection is released.*

Nobody? Talk for you mate. Presentation is taken into account to score video games. The gameplay of the first two games are boring, MK3 and its variants have good gameplay (not on point) but the shitty AI kills the game when you decide to play 1 player mode. The only reason me and others (who have played and paid for these games over and over) would have bought this Kollection is if it actually had something new or different to it (like getting new actors, wide 16:9 HD rendering, etc) while keeping the same mechanics. Dont get me wrong MK1, MK2 were great AT THE TIME, but not anymore to spend money on. Would you spend 10 bucks to buy PONG??

Re-Re-Re-Re-Releasing MK1,MK2 and MK3 is retarded IMO and Im not gonna support it by buying it. Period
