Mortal Kombat HD Remix with MUGEN

These Liu Kang sprites look great. Arq, any chance you know how to program him into mugen? If so, we could see a video of him in action with the sprites that you have done.
Or if not, maybe Bleed could take them and throw them into a mugen video.

I would love to ttas, but I don't know anything about coding those sprites I already have.....I will finish all the animations and maybe I get into it to learn how to do it... but right now I feel the urge to finish him.. thanks God I have most of it done already

If you make a folder in drop box, and put the sprites in there, or the Gifs. I can convert them to sprites and start adding them to my code.

If you remember, I coded my characters from scratch, so it's totally different from what Interloko has created.

It'll be good for testing how everything is looking, and so you can play it.

Thanks a lot man, I will do that as soon as possible, but when you add the sprites can you share your mugen with just liu if you wish so I can play it too?? :p you don't know how eager I am to play this game!!! I'm dying to play as my liu kang and to play as all your chars aswell.

About sub zero!! He looks great, it's amazing how easy it sounds when you say, a base mesh I did yesterday!! LOL IT WOULD TAKE ME DAYS to do that!! I'm not as fast as you are, congrats bro
 
I like to make these base models, because it's pretty easy and doesn't take more than a day or two usually. I sort of have a method down, so I don't need to think about it too much, just do it.

I can send you my mugen no problem.




Still working on the lights mainly, it's not easy getting this to look right.

BTW, you didn't add to your site Kung Lao, Jax Kabal and Motaro.

BTW2, the brasalet of sub-zero looks a bit different.

That's noticeably better.
The distance from the wrist to the knuckles still looks too long though.
Also, there's a strange gap between her jaw and her neck.
 
Imo, the left shoulder for any reason do not seem realistic and natural (do not get confuse im not talking about the arm that is on the left side on pic, just the right zone is the left arm,),
i mean the area when just start the bicep/arm to the rest of shoulder.
 
Yeah, the volume of the shoulder should prevail over the biceps.
Right now the shoulder has no actual volume.
Slimming the arm where the armband is, and filling in the armpit should help.
 
Still silently following your work guys. I love what you guys did here and hope none of this work gets abandoned.
My only wish would be to see this project moving a bit faster but I know that time, high quality and mood are very hard to match all the time.
It took me 2 days to read this whole topic back when I first registered and ever since then I read it once every 2-3 weeks to see what you guys did new.
While I like the work of others here, I won't like to you.
All of my hopes are in bleed.
If bleed quits, it's pretty much over so I hope he doesn't.
 
Hi Chris, I like how your Sonya has improved ! Congratulation for your work :)
I don't have the same great eyes as uKER but here are some things I've noticed:

-As noticed previously, the shoulders lacks some volume and the biceps should be slightly thinner.
-The fist needs some works (the heads of metacarpus should not be on the same line, it should be a curve)
-The socks are slightly too high.
-Her waist a slightly (very slightly) thinner.
-The belt and the thong brief needs some tweeks too:
1)The belt is larger, more skin tight and should ends at a lower level on the hips. It's a sash belt, so it needs more relief (fold, pleats) and needs to be more shiny (more than the brief itsel)
2)The thong brief should be slightly more "high cut" (the brief sides should be hidden under the belt) and the front should be slightly less large.
-The end of her hairs is maybe too much curved (not sure for this one)
-Finally, I think the clavicle and the neck relief should be more visible.

ab0363: I think that's great stuff you're pointing out, and very clearly exhibited. I would have waited until later stages of the model to go into such great detail, but you make great points nonetheless.

All valid points and with great added pictures to illustrate what you are talking about! I heartily agree with every point and every suggestion to improve it that you put forward and I really love your improvement images! I realize that it would be a huge amount of work to make all these corrections for poor Cris Berserk, but if it is done, there would really be not much left to improve!
