Mortal Kombat: Devastation

The whole "different characters playing Kitana and Mileena" thing is really bugging me. It's obvious they should both be the same person. (with proper costuming for the teeth of course!) I really can't pass judgement on any of these people before seeing how they act though. I know the original Sonya, Cage, and Liu Kang actors were phenominal. Every time I think of those three in the games I always imagine them being just like them. Raiden was fun in the first movie and I liked him alot but he didn't fit the character of Raiden in the games.
 
Raiden was cool in the first one Glamador, but what was the director thinking in Annhilation. "Oh, I'm going to get Ajax from The Warriors to play raiden in the sequel." Yeah, Horrible Idea!!!!!
 
The second movie didn't come out to theaters, it went straight to video. I hope the third installment dosent have the same fate....:)

I saw it the weekend it came out, in theaters no less. The screening I showed up for was even sold-out and I had to go to a later show, if you can believe that. It also topped the box office that weekend. It may have felt like a straight-to-video movie, but it certainly wasn't.
 
That's funny, DCR. When I went to see it, I had the whole Cinema to myself. And I even nodded off a couple of times during the feature. The movie ran for about one week here in Aus.

I remeber that when I saw it, it was with my cousin. At the time, I never even knew they made a sequel. I also did not notice that the actors were all different. Then I saw the first one again after that and realized how much the sequel sucked. I'm not retarded if you are thinking that. I was really young at the time.

Since this is a sequel after Annihilation, I'd like it to take place after all characters have aged and to keep the famous actors of the original films as part of the cast. The story should take place in MK4-MKDA with elements from Mortal Kombat Mythologies and with some other characters added into the game.
