Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection Patch NOT Coming Today [UPDATED With Patch Notes]

Hi guys...and girls..

Maybe i can help, i live in Netherlands Europe and have downloaded the mk ak for 360 and now for ps3, the ps3 has the so called patch but.......

Gamma is now way to dark, even with picture settings NOT to rgb full range, simply to dark with no ingame brightness options.

Stretch is in, which is nice, but its not adjustable in any way!

All audio bugs are STILL PRESENT, i mean all, listen to the trees in living forest and you know what i mean, there almost silent, music in atractmode etc etc still bugged.

online is better !!!!

Still cant feel nothing but dissapointment, to me this collection is sacred if it was arcade perfect!
The fact they cant deliver it perfect is pathethic in my view, Look at the awsomeness of MK9, they should make these collections themselves (netherrealm) and not some half assed developer like they chose now, there killing there legacy, hope 360 patch will be better, but i know better sadly.
 
WTF? Why do people keep saying the gamma is too dark. It looks fine actually it looks close to perfect now. Its not too dark at all :S maybe some of you have wonky eyeballs ;)

Also im really thinking that NRS are going to delay our patch (xbox europeans and US owners) as they may have noticed the sound issues and stuff. But its so strange how not a single word has been spilled to us yet from boon. Now i will actually be happy if the patch gets pushed back as long as its not to far (a week at the latest) because i dont want a patch that still makes the game a piece of sh*t when it can be perfect..... well done NRS for the stretched screen option and the nice new gamma and the online lag. but please fix the sound issues in mk2 :P. cmon you were aiming for ''arcade perfect''
 
I agree with Jap006, the new gamma is god awful. Way way to dark. It looked much better before. The stand alone MK2 on the PS3 is what this MKAK should look like, bright and very detailed. I even booted Mame up today and MY GOD this kollection is a joke in graphics and sound. Emulation is not the problem here, it's other ocean that is the problem, bunch of amateurs.
 
Well, reading all that bad stuff about the patch, I now kinda hope that the reason they're taking this long to release it in the US is that they're revising it.
 
I really hope that they fix the other problems. Perharps v1.02 in europe was just PART of the patch?. since they had to wait longer for MKAK they get online lag free and stretched screen?.

Also NRS still have to release patch notes. so when they come out we will know what has and hasnt been fixed for definite :)
 
Can I post my opinion here? This collection is really weird.
And they still don't want to improve it..
 
And what about PC version of MKAK? Im sure they can't release that with all the issues just now :/. I wonder how this is going to all end. once the patch releases worldwide. ''No thats it we patched what you wanted'' no more MKAK patches!!!!! probably something like that anyway.
 
Some pretty sad state of affairs we are in. Someone mentioned earlier how Boon told him that he submitted the patch. Well, it's Tuesday and literally every game I launched today were updated with a patch of some sort, even Galaga. Every game... Except a certain one.
I know it adds nothing to the discussion but it truly is a dissapointment.
 
Who cares about MKAK for PC. You want to play MK on a PC, play mame which is 10x better and free. I'm the only one who doesn't want this patch since I have the patched PS3 and know how shit it is? The game is better the way it is now. The patch version has added "dark kombat" Thanks alot to the people complaining about washed out colours, we will soon have no colours. I don't know why the developer couldn't of put a in game brightness option and keep people like me who prefere a bright picture to a dull dark picture happy. Just look at MK2 stand alone on PS3, bright, but very sharp HD looking. It's like comparing a HD version to SD version.

This is stupid i cant believe OO would spend 4 months for a sloppy Second patch...this has got to be the most biggest disapointment to NRS and Especially the MK Fans. Even more Disapointment to the MK Fans for zero announcements, zero updates regarding the progress and status of this patch and no updates whatsoever the patch was sceduled to be released worldwide on the 7th of December after a long 4 month wait to fix all errors and make the MKAK "Arcade Perfect" as mentioned before. 4 months later we are back to square one as if it was never even worked on other than add a stretch screen and fix gamma issues of that sort...im tired of waiting for this MKAK "Arcade Perfect" to become a reality NRS and OO really screwed the MK Fans over and i think thats why Ed Boon is mentioning on Twitter about other projects being worked on then MK because hes probably fed up with dealing with too many MK Problems and fed up about all the MK Fans on Twitter questioning to much about MK especially with this stupid MKAK that was falsely advertised to begin with...if this MKAK was properly done correctly from the Ge ko there wouldnt be to many whinners and complainers like myself to begin with..Nuff Said! >:\

Agreed. But it doesnt help he just blanks MKAK as if it never existed. I was hoping for the patch today but i guess its not coming. yet europe PSN get it WHY??????? why the f*ck not US and xbox owners worldwide?
