Does anyone have the video for Kano's reveal?
I know it was just a static image of him, but I'm more interested in the new intros and win poses they showed off for Sonya and Scorpion

Like making Kano similar to Trev in look and accent, making Liu/Kitana canon, making Johnny/Sonya canon, referencing the sunglasses, and if the stars align bringing Cary back as Shang Tsung for MK11. They're not too insecure to pay homage to other media that did MK proud.

Don't forget that Quan Chi debuted in the MK Saturday morning cartoon and still ended up being one of MK's primary villains once he was made canon. In fact, I think Quan Chi is the only official character to date to have debuted in a non-canon source.

I thought the same thing with regards to MKX, and people were also really asking for him in both MK9 and MKX for DLC.
Not holding my breath to see him in, at this point.
It's turning into MKX 2.0, given all the MK9 characters showing up, and they specifically said that MK11 will have less new characters than MK11, so.....

As for Noob, the Towers don't really mean much to me, given that Injustice 2 also had side-kick events with BOTH the characters that were on the roster and not on the roster as playable, so that could go either way.
Cyrax, Sektor and Smoke also had match modifiers and they came in via Triborg.

Still looking forward to whatever other new character makes it on the roster, as well as playing as Geras and Kronika, though.

I don't recall anyone calling for Fujin during MK9 and they already squeezed in Tremor for DLC in X. He's also a pretty original character and can replace Raiden as protector of Earthrealm since that guy turned to the Dark Side of the Force.... Would be pretty weird for them not to include him.

Just a quick FYI about this, the Cangaceiros were a bandolier group in the early years of the Brazilian Republic in the northeast of our country, and they were extremely feared and cruel, but for some they were heroes. After they were deceived when they helped back away a famous Communist movement, they went full bandit. They had massive local power, and even authorities were afraid of them. They were very untraceable, used to raid villages, rich people and kill some others they had vengeance against. It's absolutely fitting for Kano.

About the hat, nothing pirate about it tho. It's a typical Cangaceiro hat, still used in NE of Brazil.

The greatest and most feared Cangaceiro of our history was Virgulino Ferreira da Silva, better known as Lampião and "King of Cangaço". He was married with Maria Bonita (literally Mary the Beautiful) and they were chaos. He was a very different man for the region, was well educated and was devil with a gun.

He's the one in the middle (looks nothing menacing but lol)

Only in 1969 they got their proper burials (they died in 1938 ).

So here's a little bit of Brazil's history ppl, so no pirates or anything :)

Huh, if she really isn't playable then she must be one crazy final boss, we know Geras is a sub boss (and would mean he is the only time manipulator on the roster). And yea with Kano playable this means two things, 1.) Chars. that appear in menu art are very likely to be playable which slightly boosts rains chances, 2.) Being in the background of a stage is not a deconfirm which means Johnny's chances are high as well.
 
Sweet, I'm glad Kano is back he was my second in mkx. Looks pretty awesome too. Like it's been said, exactly like his movie version
 
I like having bosses not being playable because it gives them the edge of being mighty compared to everyone else. People also think the women from Jade's MK9 ending is Kronika. I doubt anyone from NRS still remembers or cares about that ending at this point.

Johnny is already confirmed. You can see him do a fatality in the Behind the Scenes video
