Mortal Kombat 11 General Discussion Media Thread

Would you guys like to see some of the classic arenas make it back in or would you like all originals again? Personally I think MK9 had better arenas than MKX. Sure the sky temple in MKX was really cool and the pit looked great and a couple of others were pretty good but places like Quan Chi's lab, the jungle and the forest, the city streets and that refugee zone were pretty forgettable. MK9 had some great arenas and I'd love to see a bunch of those come back with upgrades and interactive weapons etc.

I would like to see the Dead Pool from MK2 return back in MK11. MKX mostly had new stages expect for The Pit and Quan Chi's Fortress. I will be up for new stages back again while still having many new ones as well.
 
I hope we get mostly new stages. I'm ok with mabey 2 classic stages but it would need to make sense for them to be back in those places that were in mk9.

Speaking of which, I want to know why they're back at Shang Tsung's Courtyard in the MK11 trailer and I want to know what the hell happened to those guards and monks.
Looks like a mass execution event happened, given that the monks all apparently died while meditating and the guards were slaughtered.

Judging by the in game screen shots. It’s looks like there will be new arenas in the game. Hopefully we get more arenas than we did in MKX.

As for classic arenas potentially returning. The ones I like to see are the MKDA’s version of the Portal arena and the Wu Shi Academy (but with a damaged worn down look).

Give EVERY stage a Stage Fatality, that way we're not limited to where we can use them. Plus, I want FOUR Fatalities per character. Two per character has been holding back the Fatality for far too long.

Four Fatalities is a bit too much. I would say at most three per character, you don’t want an over saturation of massacring of your opponent.

Came here to post this, but was searching if nobody had before lol

I was expecting Raiden tbh, but I guess Scorpion still sells more.

I do hope he has more to doin the story this time. While I loved his redemption and making amends with Sub-Zero, Hanzo is always doing some BS that in the end we are always like "he did it again...".

Too little screentime too. That's why I'd rather Raiden this time, he's obviously one of the most important characters, if not the most, since MKvsDC.

Also, people on Instagram are saying "the leak was real!". What leak this time?!

Edit: took one minute to send the message due internet BS and people posted before about the leak I was asking :)

Totally agree with having Raiden on the cover of the game. He’s still a popular character not to the extent as Sub-Zero or Scorpion are. Raiden is still popular none the less.

I’ve said here before that either Scorpion or Sub-Zero should on the cover of the Collector’s/Premium Edition and NOT on the regular edition of Mortal Kombat games.

As for Scorpion, hopefully he is still Hanzo Hasahi in MK11. NRS did a magnificent job with him in MKX with regards from being a vengeful spectre to the leader of the Shira Ryu clan.

You know what's the problem? It's ridiculous when they hire someone who is not a voice actor to do voice acting.

Voice acting is a serious professional, it's not because you are a youtuber or a fighter that means you can do a good job voice acting.

I do hope she does all right, but I have bad experiences in my country. Voice actors in Brazil are great, but we have the bad habit of hiring famous people who are not voice actors and it usually ends bad. MKX had voice acting and Cassie was ridiculous. Luckily I always prefer the original language exactly to avoid this, but Ronda as Sonya... Idk what to think...

But now something waaaaaaay different. If they mentioned Geras and Kronika from the first leak, also Ronda, *DOES THAT MEAN KEVIN CONROY WILL BE SCORPION?*

Seriously, I LOVE Conroy, but I'm not sure how Hanzo will sound like Bruce Wayne. Seitz was pretty upset about hearing only in the reveal he won't be Scorpion, and I think it's common sense that he killed voicing him. Kevin is a very talented professional, but his voice is so unique, I'm having difficulty imagining Hanzo as Bruce.
