Mortal Kombat 11 General Discussion Media Thread

The same leak from awhile back that mentioned Kollector, Cetrion and weird Frost also mentioned that Tag mode was coming back. I wonder if it still holds true

Oh I understand that, I really do feel bad for the people that put a shit ton of work into these characters, just to be leaked from a screengrab.

Just I feel the formula they were using was weak. Maybe wait a bit and when you want to show off 4 characters, have a stream with mid-high level players to show them off. Kombat kast can come after
 
No Rain or Fujin? Shocker! I wouldn’t have even hoped had Rain not been teased. First an NPC and now this. Oh well.

The character designs look so cool. Super stoked for Noob, Frost, Shang fans. Love Erron Black and Kotal returning and glad Shinnok gets one more chance.

Sadly, not many surprises. I was hoping for some some more 3D era reimagines, as well.
 
1) Did they turn Kotal into a manlet?
2) No Reptile. Looks like the previous leaker was right after all....

[MENTION=4889]BBBLP[/MENTION] Looks good. They always seem to touch up the faces as with previous games, and that tech guy at NRS confirmed that work is being done. If they give the same treatment to the rest then it'll stop throwing me off for sure. Sonya doesn't look like Dogman anymore.
 
I'm going to need Misucra to wake his ass up. I'm waiting on that rant. I'm expecting we'll need at least 3 pages for it
 
This roster seems like it's more centered around the story as opposed to previous games where it was mostly Ed's decision. like who would've thought that they were gonna bring back Jacqui and not Rain.

Well... probably Ed tbh haha. Apparently he likes Jacqui (no one else does, so...)

Some of them look like placeholders. You can tell an obvious difference between ones like Sonya and ones like Erron. They probably took the masks off for pre-release build select reasons so they can see the absolute base versions of the characters.

Having Kotal, D'Vorah and Erron in the game. I swear to god they better not give Reptile and Ermac off screen deaths.

Sektor is my favorite character, you have no idea how salty I was when he was one of the only characters to survive MK9 and then I saw this

As was I, but I guess the rest of the post-MK3 characters will be DLC again (like Tremor, Bo Rai Cho and Tanya).
Seem that Frost is taking Kenshi's place as the 1 token 3D era character on the main roster.

Don't speak for all of us.
I mained her Shotgun variation, along with Takeda's Ronin variation.
Sure, her physical design was on the bland side, but she was fun as hell to use as an MK character and I'm glad that it looks like the team has revamped her look for MK11.
Jacqui, Cassie, Kotal Kahn, D'Vorah and Erron Black could greatly benefit from the custom variations, seeing as they're the odd ones out in terms of people being familiar with their move-sets and being able to predict them, unlike the klassic characters.
You can probably change things out here and there in the custom variations for them, and probably get away with more at least when the game first comes out.
People know the basics for Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Raiden having their iconic moves, but the MKX debuts and new 3 characters can have various moves swapped around, making it a little trickier to face them (since people aren't as familiar with them), which I like.

Well Ermac is pretty understandable if you remember his MKX ending. Reptile however...That's what I don't understand. They could've done so much to him in this game with all the new tech. Or even worse, they won't mention him at all.
