I would rather have 6 MK characters that haven't been playable since Armageddon's 2007 and 0 guests.

There are plenty to chose from: Fujin, Reiko, Havik, Sareena, Ashrah, Daegon, Taven, Drahmin, Moloch, Li Mei, Hotaru, Nitara, Onaga.

I'd main ANY of these for years

As would I, but with MKX having 4 guests I don’t see MK11 having less.
 
Drahmin is in the list of characters that will never come back because Ed Boon dislikes him. They even killed him off in the MKX comic along with Hsu Hao.
 
I'm curious as to why Boon hates Drahmin. He's such an awesome character with an awesome back story which holds a lot of potential for him.

You're probably right about him never coming back but I wouldn't consider the comics as evidence regardless of that unlikelihood.

We had 4 the last time. THIS is why I literally see no distinction between guest characters and the people who are fans of them; they are giving WB more and more incentive to shove them down our throats by each passing day, while characters like Fujin and Sareena get treated like second class citizens with the whole "NPC" bait. I guarantee you the roster will be Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and 35 guest characters if this bullshit doesn't stop.

Probably he was a coding nightmare because the club on his hand would always switch around when you try to use him. Seeing that they could not get Hellboy's Hand of Doom in Injustice 2 to stay on the correct arm, I doubt they would have any luck having Drahmin's club stay on his arm. I always found him to be a cool character despite him having shitty combos in MKDA.

I'd be so willing to deal with the club switching arms of it meant I could play him again lol

I don't know anything about programming but it seems funny, with the technology and team of experienced programmers, that they can't get it down properly. Again, though, what do I know?

I had this idea that they should strip his fly ball projectile and replace it with shrunken heads. They could use voodoo to give an added effect to them as well. Though he still needs flies swarming his disgusting body and shitty green shorts.
 
They could easily fix his club issue by getting rid of it and instead turning his arm into like a gross, boney tumor growth that swells depending on which way he's facing.
 
Yeah i always think Drahmin has a lot of potential. He is gross and brutal and will fit Mk11 perfectly. With the customization for his mask and club will look sick.

He has the potential to be the most grotesque character. I can't believe they haven't gone all out on an idea like this. I know there's something vile characters but nothing that crosses the line enough.
 
I think Havik makes Drahmin irrelevant though. Since Havik's whole deal is his grotesque body horror. His rotten face and the way he mutilates his own body to attack

On other news, just saw an intro of Scorpion telling Raiden that saving the revenants is impossible and they are beyond his help.

Remind me again who made this impossible? Yeah, right.

The new movie you mention itself wasn't a big commercial success and didn't try to be either. It was for the die hard fans. It was a lower budget independent film. Thinking that would be a trend to bank off this new is wrong. Besides, his game appearance was from the original movie and the 2003 remake. I doubt most people know that new film exists.

People have claimed that Leatherface being in MKX was a tribute to the original actor passing away, however there's a problem with that theory. The Kombat Pack 2 for MKX was announced in either August or September of 2015. Gunnar Hansen passed away a couple months later. The amount of time it takes to make a character from scratch wouldn't add up as a month afterward the KP2 trailer revealed a fully fleshed out model and textured Leatherface. Which is not gonna take under a month to make. Leatherface was most likely in development for awhile before Hansen died and his passing was just an unfortunate coincidence.
 
The original Shang Tsung from the mk1 movie has been teasing MK stuff
If we get him to be the face of Shang Tsung in MK11 I may lose my shit
Now if only they had a robin shou Liu Kang skin

Right? I mean Jax and Sub-Zero were saved..
Yet if it has anything to do with Scorpion killing Quan Chi (selfish dick) than I still call bs.
